Taipei Main Station branch
Old and dirty
Interviewed for an office position
Was required to work as a part-timer for one week before starting the job
Was told that, because it is a Japanese company,
everyone has to start as a part-timer
But your salary and benefits are not Japanese-style
I replied that I could accept it
104 informed me that they were busy with payroll at the beginning of the month
and would get back to me
In the end, they never got back to me at all
The employer branding of this Japanese brand is really poor
If they found someone, they could have simply replied that they had found a suitable candidate
Leaving people hanging like this shows that there would be major problems working for this company

I remember applying for a part-time job there about ten years ago... The headquarters was near Taipei Main Station. The environment was terrible. They even required part-time employees to wear suits... Are you kidding me? And the manager conducting the interview was even worse.... They showed absolutely no respect for job applicants. I threw away the business card as soon as I got home.

Inspections are carried out every few days, causing everyone to work overtime. We often work until one or two in the morning, but the working hours are only counted until midnight. The store supervisors are very emotional and have an attitude of “if you don’t want to do it, there are plenty of people waiting to do it.”
Unexpectedly
The head office work environment is cramped. Regardless of the position you apply for, you have to help out at the stores, take regular exams, and perform volunteer service. The salary is less than 30,000, but you are expected to know how to do everything.
The benefits advertised online are all fake—what 8–13 days off?
In the months I worked there, I only got 4.5 days off.
And 1.5 of those days were days when I worked 5–7 hours????? (They call that a half day off????)
They calculate your overtime hours in the middle of the month, then adjust your working hours after mid-month.
In other words, the overtime pay you earned before mid-month gets offset in the end?
There are already not enough staff, yet they still change the menu every 1–2 months on average.
We’re exhausted, and we still have to listen to the head office talk nonsense all day.
Other people’s children never seem to stop dying.
