Read the community guidelinesThe company office is very spacious
There are quite a lot of benefits
The provided lunch is very appealing
No car parking spaces are provided
The lunch seems pretty good.
The HR interviewer was nice and treated people courteously, but the manager in the second-round interview seemed very disrespectful, as if I were applying to be a maid.
No advantages
A few years ago, I interviewed at Daye Automotive because I wanted to change jobs.
That same day, they told me I had been hired, so I went back to my original job and resigned.
However, as the start date approached, they canceled my offer,
saying that they could not accept me because I was still a student.
But I had already resigned from my original job.
Later, I looked online and found that I could file a civil lawsuit for damages,
so I filed a civil lawsuit against Daye Automotive.
The general manager's tone was really like an adult bullying a child.
Conveniently located near an MRT station.
The company seems somewhat well organized and is not a small company.
The HR interviewer was fairly communicative. But when the department manager came in, it sounded like they were looking for a “miscellaneous chores auntie,” making the position seem unprofessional and unrecognized.
…Also, although the job posting did not specify that applicants needed to ride a scooter, nor did it mention going to the market to buy things or cooking afternoon snacks such as savory porridge!
It feels like the company is looking for someone to take on many different roles in one position.
Free lunch provided (not sure whether the food is good).
1. The salary includes NT$2,000 for perfect attendance, divided into NT$1,000 for the first half of the month and NT$1,000 for the second half. There is no grace period: being one minute late means losing the perfect-attendance bonus for that half of the month. If you are late during the first half but not during the second half, you will only lose NT$1,000.
2. There are two rounds of interviews, plus a computer-based test. The test includes two tasks: portrait retouching and product retouching. There is no time limit, but if you are not familiar with Photoshop, it is recommended that you do not apply.
3. During the probationary period, the salary is reduced by several thousand from the expected compensation. After the probationary period, it will be adjusted depending on the circumstances, but the adjustment is not substantial. The company also does not provide fixed annual salary increases; basically, there is only the one adjustment after passing the probationary period.
4. The interviewer was not very familiar with the job duties, but explained that there are three graphic designers in the department, each with different responsibilities: product packaging design; e-commerce (product photography and retouching, listing and delisting products, and advertising banners); and video filming and editing (new products are launched every month, so you have to film product videos, come up with the scripts yourself, and appear on camera).
5. For this position, the company expects you to be a jack-of-all-trades and be able to handle all of the graphic design team’s work.
6. The interviewer repeatedly emphasized the importance of communication, because this position requires dealing with various internal and external departments and demands a great deal of patience and an excellent temperament.
