The manager was late, kept his own camera off, and still asked me to turn mine on.
When I asked whether we could both turn our cameras on, he replied: “I don’t have a camera.”
After I finished introducing myself, he said: “Your qualifications don’t match.”
When I asked what didn’t match, they said: “The job posting was written incorrectly. We actually want someone with more years of experience. If we hire you, we can’t offer the salary stated on the job posting. Is that acceptable?”
Of course it wasn’t. The interview ended within 10 minutes.
Fellow job seekers, don’t give up. I’ve already found something better—you deserve better.

For the first interview, HR said the general manager was in a meeting and asked me to wait. I waited nearly 30 minutes, and in the end, they rescheduled the interview.
The general manager was finally on time for the second interview. At the beginning, they asked me to introduce myself, but before I could finish, they interrupted me and said that my resume did not meet their requirements.
I also find it difficult to understand what companies that do not read resumes before inviting people to interviews are trying to accomplish. Maybe their requirement is simply that they enjoy wasting people's time.

The interview was conducted by video, but the other party did not turn on their camera at all. The interviewer also did not look at your résumé, and showed complete disrespect toward the interviewee throughout the video call. The 104 job posting said that the job duties would be discussed in detail during the interview, but during the interview they only asked, “Do you actually know what our company does?”
So what was the point of my coming to the interview? In any case, the entire process was handled hastily.

The job responsibilities described by the supervisor were quite different from those posted by HR on the employment website. The supervisor did not understand why I had come for the interview, and I was also not sure why HR had invited me to interview. The supervisor's impatient attitude—sitting on the sofa with legs crossed and head tilted back—made me feel uncomfortable.
The office is quite large, which is reassuring.

The first interview is divided into two parts. The first interviewer mainly handles the written test, has you fill out forms, explains the job responsibilities, and answers any questions.
The second interviewer, a supervisor, mainly evaluates the applicant’s manner of speaking.
The entire process takes approximately one hour.
The questions are not particularly complicated, but they place a strong emphasis on attention to detail and Excel.
Basically, there are no major issues. However, commuting to Neihu District takes relatively long. Other than that, no major problems are apparent from the first interview so far.
We’ll see how the second interview goes.
