The interview ended very quickly, saving time
The manager was late, kept his own camera off, and still asked me to turn mine on.
When I asked whether we could both turn our cameras on, he replied: “I don’t have a camera.”
After I finished introducing myself, he said: “Your qualifications don’t match.”
When I asked what didn’t match, they said: “The job posting was written incorrectly. We actually want someone with more years of experience. If we hire you, we can’t offer the salary stated on the job posting. Is that acceptable?”
Of course it wasn’t. The interview ended within 10 minutes.
Fellow job seekers, don’t give up. I’ve already found something better—you deserve better.
After checking Tianyancha, I found that he still hadn’t managed to get a camera after all these years.
The entire process felt like dealing with a scam operation.
