Read the community guidelinesThere are many opportunities to learn, and the work offers a high degree of autonomy.
Relationships among employees are fairly harmonious. Benefits are acceptable, including company gatherings, birthday celebrations, etc.
The policies are generally in accordance with standard regulations.
The company has many machine-related projects. Occasionally, poor mechanical design leads to urgent modifications and rushed work.
There is also support for work in other departments, but fortunately, some technical tasks can be learned while doing them.
Although the company is small, it has a strong sense of unity. It’s not like some of the companies I’ve worked at before, where everyone was just waiting for the end of the workday. The colleagues are generally easy to get along with, and there aren’t any difficult old-timer types. There’s a lot to learn and plenty of room for development, but you have to take the initiative to find time to learn on your own, as there aren’t many dedicated resources.
Some departments are not very well-established, so everyone has to support one another. It can be a little tiring, but you won’t be forced to work overtime.
Sometimes you may have to work in a cleanroom, which can take some getting used to.
A bit of freedom (because there aren't many orders)
One day, when your relatives and friends all receive year-end bonuses for the Lunar New Year, you receive nothing—or perhaps only a NT$600 red envelope.
One day, when the company fails to pay your salary on schedule and doesn't inform you, you have to figure out afterward how to come up with the money to pay your mortgage.
One day, when something happens to your parents and you need to take leave to help, your position at the company is low and you aren't valued, so you can't take leave as scheduled.
One day, when the company adjusts its salary structure, it assures you that your salary will be exactly the same as before, but afterward your salary is NT$280 less than the previous month.
One day, when the company has little to ship, you can only do environmental cleaning and tidying.
Taken together, these points will help you understand why everyone's average tenure is only one to two years.
