Pros

The office environment is good.

Cons

The interviewing manager was extremely disrespectful to the interviewee.

They asked questions, but while I was answering, they were scrolling on their phone.

Throughout the entire interview, they barely made eye contact.

They asked a bunch of questions, yet did not even mention their own products.

They asked me to introduce myself in English, but they were not listening at all and could not understand it anyway.

It felt like they only want people who can hit the ground running.

If you join, there is guaranteed to be no one to train or guide you—it is a sink-or-swim setup.

The manager’s attitude was truly unacceptable.

Pros

If the company’s products were the cheapest and best quality, would it even need salespeople?

So you learn how to -> visit prospects, make sales pitches, maintain customer relationships, negotiate prices, and handle complaints.

In short, you have to find ways to sell at a good profit while minimizing returns from customers.

If you don’t communicate with your supervisor, when will you ever do it?

So you smooth out your own rough edges, learn to be humble, and begin to understand how to respect your elders and those worthy of respect~

The point is to turn unreasonable demands into opportunities for growth.

If you think everything the customer says is right, then why don’t you jump from the sixteenth floor?

So you learn to distinguish truth from falsehood. You become more careful, but ironically also more timid.

It’s just like being a detective~very enjoyable.

If you don’t know poetry, music, and literature; appreciate cars or wine; or understand astronomy, history, and geography, how could you possibly earn your boss’s trust?

So you begin to regret not studying when you were young, and understand the importance of graduating from a prestigious school after entering the workforce.

Sometimes, appearance and background are also a kind of professional ability.

If you’re single, can’t attract women, and have no appreciation from the opposite sex, do you think you’re qualified to be a salesperson?

So you begin to improve yourself and understand that men are the mainstay of society and how important careers are to men.

Salespeople have to know how to attract women, so you begin paying more attention to your appearance and grooming. In addition to working hard overtime, you also exercise to maintain your physical fitness.

Gradually, you grow from a young newcomer just entering society into a man.

Cons

Think about it: do you want just a job, or could you change your mindset and see it as someone paying you to learn how to trade and do business?

But as time goes by, you may feel that your hard work and what you receive are not proportional. After building up your abilities, you may eventually leave to start your own business.

Unfortunately, apart from the original veterans and parachuted-in managers, no salesperson has currently stayed with the company for more than five years.

In other words, new hires come and go in batches~if someone doesn’t last a year, it shows they aren’t resilient enough, and they basically need to make a quick decision within a few months.

If you have already stayed for more than a year, congratulations—you’re considered a senior now. It is recommended that you endure a few more years; there are good opportunities ahead.

The company’s biggest weakness right now is probably its weak younger generation and the overly large gap between generations. Just when someone has been trained well enough to go into battle, they leave after only a few years.

Of course, this is more of a management-level issue. Senior management also needs to think carefully about whether its approach to managing young people needs to be adjusted.

Pros

1. The company can order breakfast and drinks for the group.

2. Good location, with plenty of convenient food options.

3. Comprehensive training.

4. Domestic and overseas employee trips.

Cons

1. The hierarchy is very rigid. Shoes must be placed according to rank; when sending emails, the recipients and CCs must also be listed in hierarchical order.

2. The turnover rate is extremely high, except for a few long-term veteran employees.

3. Company training is often conducted by a senior manager. When new employees first join, they are not assigned any substantive work, so they mainly read printed training documents or perform miscellaneous tasks. This senior manager often starts approximately two hours of training only about 30 minutes before the end of the workday. The training report is due by 10:00 the next day.

4. The manager is always right.

5. Regular overtime is the norm; the earliest anyone leaves is the administrative assistant.
