Pros

All the benefits listed above for 104 are provided.

Cons

If you join a certain department, be careful and make sure to learn properly. If you are not good at learning, you may be singled out, and you might then be publicly humiliated in front of all your colleagues. If you make a mistake, you may also be @mentioned in the group (those who are afraid of being annoyingly @mentioned should be careful).

If you believe in astrology, you can observe your colleagues’ birthdays (company emails).

If you become too close to certain colleagues, and someone sees it, there is a chance you may be driven apart. Take good care~ (It is recommended that you communicate by typing whenever possible.)

The work is highly, highly, highly repetitive.

It is recommended that people with strong stress resistance and a compliant, self-disciplined personality consider doing this job.

The other departments are all quite good. Good luck to everyone interviewing~

Pros

There are lots of places to eat in the surrounding area; you only have to walk a few steps to find something.

Steady weight gain.

Cons

I had a dream that lasted neither a particularly long nor particularly short time.

The job in the dream went like this:

They would tell you how amazing this position was.

Not many people can do it anymore (actually, it’s just that nobody needs to use it anymore). There was so, so much to learn, and you would gain an enormous amount from it, blah blah blah.

Then they would tell you how valuable your status was: you were a member of the XAXXO head office.

In reality, your company was just an outsourcing firm, and you were a tiny cog in a call center.

Every day, you were crammed into a tiny desk surrounded by pale blue partitions, wearing a lousy single-ear headset and doing the same thing. You couldn’t stretch your legs out, and the chair could leave you with an aching back at any moment.

There really was a lot to learn. Marketing is a living thing, but they taught it as if it were dead.

So there were plenty of dead things for you to learn.

Whether you could master your dead training materials and bring them back to life was up to you.

But first, you had to experience one particular line: everyone is extremely, extremely busy, so you’ll have to figure some things out on your own. We may not have time to teach you. You can ask your senior colleagues, but your senior colleagues are also extremely busy. You can take a look at the materials they had back then and see how complete and comprehensive they were—the difference from the materials in your hands is like night and day.

Then I dreamed that every job has its own targets or KPIs.

Here, you had a KPI that sounded easy but was difficult to achieve.

I won’t go into the detailed criteria.

During the interview, they would paint you a rosy picture, saying that your work would be regular and easy.

They would also clearly explain the schedule and the approximate amount of time each task would take.

In reality, you were dreaming! You were dreaming within your dream!

Every day, you could keep yourself productively busy until the very last moment, without wasting a single second.

Once you put on that lousy single-ear headset, your life became full of: Please answer the phone, customer; please don’t block my calls; I don’t mind if you think I’m annoying for calling you every day—I only care whether I hit my KPI.

The two supervisors you would interact with at work were not bad people at heart. Unfortunately, people have to do what their position requires, and together with the company’s systems and the employer’s demands, they had no choice but to become the kind of people others dislike most: constantly breathing down your neck and relentlessly pressuring you. However, the me in the dream didn’t really mind, because everyone had their own difficulties.

Finally, if you dream of working in advertising and want to do marketing,

don’t think about coming here to gain experience.

Go directly to an agency or a specialized marketing company.

This place is "just outbound customer service," like the occasional calls you get from a telecom company asking whether you want to transfer your number.

If you’re skeptical, you can always come here and have a dream of your own.

Pros

Convenient transportation and plenty of food options

Cons

A chaotic way of working—saying one thing today and changing it tomorrow.

They are an assisting vendor (outsourcer) for Yahoo. The supervisor boasts about how amazing they are, saying things like, “We’re Yahoo headquarters. The bonus system is extremely comprehensive (?!), and we’re not customer service? (But that’s exactly what we are.)” It’s a company that completely relies on deceptive sales talk.

The benefits are basically just average, or perhaps a little worse (anyway, they have nothing to do with Yahoo)!

No one knows how the monthly bonuses are calculated. They dodge questions about the ambiguous KPIs, boast, and paint an overly rosy picture!

Employee turnover is extremely high, yet they always assume it is the employees’ problem. SOP training is very casual and incomplete. Every day, the supervisor wants people to flatter them and make them look good, despite having very little ability or sense of responsibility to actually get things done! Then they say they have already improved their temper a lot and are kind-hearted enough! They spend the entire day frantically busy without knowing what they are doing.

In this kind of environment, it’s probably not very likely that you’ll be able to keep working there 😂

A huge waste of life and time!

Pros

1. The HR manager and the customer service department manager were very kind.

Cons

1. The receptionist's attitude toward interviewees was very casual. When I informed them that I had come for an interview, they responded impatiently.

2. The position was for customer service at the well-known Y auction platform, with compensation of around NT$26,000. The performance bonus system was similar to telemarketing, requiring direct sales during phone calls.

3. They clearly stated that meetings would sometimes be held after work, but no overtime pay would be provided for meetings. However, if phone calls or emails delayed work past the end of the day, the supervisor would report it as overtime.

I previously interviewed at this company. Its address was in Building 10 of the science park near Xianse Temple MRT Station, and it was very difficult to find because the notification email did not specify which building it was in. The reception experience was as described above. The interview process included 1. a logic test, 2. an attention-to-detail test, and 3. a Chinese typing speed test. After the tests, someone guided me to a meeting room. The HR manager interviewed me first and thoughtfully explained which transportation options would be faster for commuting to work. The customer service department manager also conducted an interview. Both interviews asked about self-introduction, previous industry experience, and reasons for leaving previous jobs. However, because of the reception service and the company's environment, I would not want to join this company.
