Read the community guidelines1. The attitude in both the letters and phone calls was very friendly.
1. They invited me to choose a time slot and said the interview would be conducted online via Google, but did not provide a URL. When I called to ask, they said they would send the URL before the interview.
2. About ten minutes before the selected time slot, they sent a written test instead. They said they would send the interview URL only after I completed and returned it.
3. After I completed and returned the written test, I was told that the person in charge was in a meeting and that they would send the interview URL after the meeting ended, but they did not mention an estimated time.
4. I waited for more than an hour without receiving any notification.
5. I emailed to decline after waiting for the interview, but the other party suggested rescheduling for another time slot.
6. After I provided available time slots, the other party scheduled a time when only 10 minutes remained in the slot. They then sent an oral test nearly 10 minutes late and required me to answer via video within a specified number of seconds.
7. After I declined again, they replied that they had forgotten to provide the URL.

1. Not far from Ximen MRT Station
2. The interview style was concise; I answered all the questions that the interviewers had listed in advance on paper within seven minutes.
Upon arrival, I was first asked to complete a logic test. After finishing it, I also had to take a professional skills test (I glanced through it and found that there were a great many questions, and they were rather difficult). Since the logic test had already taken half an hour, I really couldn’t be bothered to spend another one or two hours on this test. I had initially intended to leave immediately, but I was still invited to proceed with the interview. During the interview, they said that my professional abilities would be evaluated based on the GitHub account I provided. However, when I later emailed to ask why I had not been selected, I was told that because I had not completed the professional skills test at all, they could not evaluate my abilities. It felt like a bit of a waste of both our time.
Very free—you can do whatever you want.
Too free; there is absolutely no structure or system.
Thank you to the company for its support and development over the years.
1. Although I left the company almost two years ago, I feel that overall it was a good experience. The general manager is genuinely kind and easygoing, and the company’s operations are stable.
2. Becoming extremely wealthy is unlikely, but the company’s management and project execution are genuinely quite steady and conventional.
3. As long as you are proactive and hardworking, the general manager does provide tangible recognition, and most of the management team is quite good as well.
4. The company is wholly owned by the general manager, so there is no interference from outside market factions.
1. It is not a technology-driven company, but the company’s positioning is in business and industrial consulting, so this is not really an issue.
2. The salary is not particularly high.
3. The company is very focused on its core business, so its ability to aggressively expand in the market is limited. However, it is indeed quite rigorous about the quality of project execution.
As a contractor, basically, as long as you complete your own projects, everything is fine.
Complies with the Labor Standards Act.
The smallest unit for taking leave is half an hour.
If IT staff are willing to speak up,
there are many experienced colleagues who can answer many professional questions.
The salary is below the market rate.
Every year, you have to proactively ask for a raise when the time comes;
otherwise, the general manager will forget.
The old office was relatively run-down and dirty, and there were rats.
Being assigned to a good project with a good supervisor will not send you to heaven,
but a bad project with a bad supervisor will make you feel worse than dead every day.
The work involves government outsourcing projects.
There is not much pursuit of new technology.
