The work environment is very comfortable!
The company is doing well and has many cases.
The office environment is good, and the work atmosphere is excellent. The company’s clients are all medium-sized or large enterprises. Overall, the employees have a high level of professional competence. Few design companies have such a large team that can collaborate to spark creativity and bring out the best in design.
The company requires employees to leave the office at the end of their workday, so there is little opportunity to receive overtime pay!
The colleagues are very easy to get along with, and there are plenty of snacks and drinks. When it’s time, the boss sends everyone home, saying, “Go home and have a good dinner!”
The boss and supervisors mostly hold master’s or doctoral degrees, and work schedules require that “today’s tasks must be finished today!” At the same time, the company emphasizes clearly defined rewards and punishments to retain high-quality employees.
Every year, the company holds employee training sessions and often invites lecturers from government agencies or universities to enhance everyone’s professional knowledge in the workplace. For example, the popular university course “game theory” helps everyone understand how to use good intentions to achieve a “teamwork” effect that produces twice the result with half the effort within the “zero-sum game” of a game. Some colleagues do not know that the EMBA course fee for “game theory” is NT$25,000 per person, and think game theory means gambling. It’s hilarious!!
There are break times, but they’ll call you into meetings during your break.
There are snacks for everyone to order, but the selection is limited—the boss says you can eat whatever he says is available.
You can leave work on time, but during the last half hour of the workday they’ll hold a meeting with you to explain cases that are due tomorrow.
On Fridays, the sales team makes cases sound very appealing, then says they’re due next Monday (have the salespeople forgotten about weekends, or are they afraid people will remember weekends?).
The boss used the pretext of training to invite someone from the gambling industry to give a class, and everyone had to pay upfront.
After one round, everyone had lost money, and in the end we couldn’t get it back. He even said we could organize an event for everyone to eat, drink, and thank him.
When we tried to get everyone to sign a petition and wrote a letter asking the boss to return the money, he said that if losing those few hundred dollars meant you couldn’t live, then...
He wrote a long-winded essay, as if everyone had simply misunderstood him.
I really do have to thank the boss: the holiday bonuses were all NT$500 Carrefour gift vouchers.
I wonder how much the boss saved by refusing to give cash.
The negative energy is very strong.... Previously, someone with a sensitive constitution said the boss was ### dirty something; whoever got close to him would be affected. Those with sensitive constitutions were especially ###....
Look at all these advantages above
Extremely petty and lacking the boss’s generosity. He privately drives wedges between employees. When he sees that you all are getting along too well, he even monitors you and reads your SK messages. It’s clearly such a good work environment, yet I don’t know whether the boss did something back in his early days, because he’s nervous and suspicious around all the employees.
Even when there are clearly many cases to handle, he deliberately piles on more work and asks when it will be finished.
If you don’t finish it, he mocks you, saying the pressure is great because the company pays your salary.
If you do finish it, he still mocks you, saying the quality of your work doesn’t look like design.
Even when you listen to the boss and do a good job, he still criticizes you, saying you could make several more versions for him to look at, and then a few days later he says
The company atmosphere is good
The salary is not stable enough

The wife is the chairperson and the husband is the manager. Company policies change constantly and leadership is highly emotional. Employee turnover is extremely high. They never self-reflect and only criticize others, yet they even came out to say that they are 100% compliant with the Labor Standards Act? If you are a recent graduate, you can go in and learn a tiny bit of something. If you have professional technical skills, you will have better options!
The workplace atmosphere is good. The company fully complies with the Labor Standards Act, provides days off on public holidays, and always pays overtime. Those seeking a better work–life balance may want to consider it.
