The probationary salary for the administrative assistant position is 18K for the first three months and 22K afterward. Although the work is simple—receiving, sending, and filing correspondence; entering letter data; watering plants on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; waiting to carry out assignments at any time; covering the front desk; cleaning; and handling various miscellaneous errands—you must tolerate a supervisor with an easily angered personality and an arrogant attitude, as well as being lectured with remarks implying social class differences. You need to have a servant-like sense of humility.
The supervisor described the work environment as flexible, with a hands-off management style. Overtime pay is handled entirely according to the Labor Standards Act. Working hours generally do not exceed the 46 hours stipulated by the Labor Standards Act; even if they do exceed that limit, employees are paid, but the timesheet can only record 46 hours.
The salary amount and payment method were explained very clearly during the interview.
Some employees have worked there for over 20 years, and the company has many professional certifications.
The company environment seems nice, with bright natural lighting.
The interview process was intermittent because the supervisor was rushing to prepare a tender and had not prepared the candidate's résumé.
Regarding my own gap year, the interviewer said they did not mind and did not consider it a waste of time.
If the weather is clear, with no wind or rain, during a typhoon holiday, the company considers employees required to work or requires them to make up the working day later.
The company does not use the certifications, so it does not provide additional compensation for them, and it also does not want employees to seek other uses for them.
Colleagues are easy to get along with, and most managers are nice (though a small number are terrible). Work is fairly flexible.
1. The Environmental Engineering Department is terrible. The manager's way of handling things is very problematic, and they are often criticized by other colleagues. Be careful when applying to the Environmental Engineering Department.
2. The company pays overtime, but not always in full accordance with the Labor Standards Act.
There is a parking lot downstairs from the company (the only advantage).
They only notified me of the interview by phone and couldn't even be bothered to send an email. The boss incorrectly remembered the interview time and was out when I arrived. When the interview was rescheduled, their attitude felt very condescending. They conducted the interview while using the computer and discussing matters with the secretary, repeatedly asking what I thought I could do for the company.

The company's management practices are chaotic. The Tainan supervisor has a poor attitude toward dealing with people and handling matters, and employees are required to do a lot of inexplicable miscellaneous tasks.
