Hiring holiday-shift staff, but only wanting to employ students
Assuming from the outset that if a full-time job's salary is too low, one should find another job
instead of looking for holiday-shift work
May I ask whether I need your manager's involvement to look for a job?
If you only want to employ students, why not note that in the job posting?
You wasted people's time by asking them to come for an interview, and still think we shouldn't?
The environment is clean and tidy, and most colleagues are nice.
The boss has a traditional, exploitative mindset. Messages must be answered immediately. The boss is very fierce and scolds people at the slightest thing, sometimes using profanity.
Many colleagues work overtime without overtime pay. Responsibilities are often unclear, so you don't know what you're supposed to do. The actual job is completely different from what was described in the interview. You are expected to know how to do everything, while the boss keeps assigning tasks randomly. Overall, it's just terrible.
The work environment is good, and the female owner is very nice.
There is no one to guide you when you join the company. You are expected to know about government tenders and bidding. You often hear the boss swear at employees (although the criticism is directed at the work, not the person); he also swears at them in group chats and swears at the female owner as well. Overtime under the responsibility system is unpaid.
You need to be very clear about bidding; it’s almost entirely work on government agency tenders.
