Pros

None

Cons

Although I’ve already left, I still can’t help coming back to rant about this company. The position was absolutely awful—responsible for everything under the sun while being paid very little. While others spent the day chatting and laughing, people in that terrible position were busy as dogs all day and still got criticized. The internal distribution of work was seriously unfair. The average employee tenure was less than 2–3 years. Haha, who should be reflecting on that?

Pros

The colleagues are quite nice.

Cons

Basically, the business team has very little decision-making authority; all decisions are made by the boss. The company provides few resources, and its old-fashioned management style leads to extremely frustrating obstacles in carrying out various business activities. The boss has a certain level of ability, but their understanding differs from the market, so there is very little to learn. The salary structure and its terms are not very favorable; the pay is quite ordinary for this field, and the bonuses are difficult to earn. At the same salary level, there are other better job options.

Pros

1. The boss is very capable and willing to teach

2. Learn from the basics

Cons

For newcomers, it is possible to spend 1–2 years building solid skills. The accountant has a personality unlike ordinary people, so you need to pay extra attention. The success or failure of this company rests entirely with the female boss. The overall environment has long since changed, and old-fashioned practices are a major obstacle for the company. No matter how strong you are, if you have no soldiers or resources to fight with, you can only sit and wait for defeat. If discussing buying into the company, you might as well treat it as a pipe dream. Don’t ask about the turnover rate. The accountant is the most senior… well, aside from the boss and the people whose names include “Dong,” hardly anyone else has been there for more than a few years—not even a few months in some cases. In conclusion, based on the actual monthly salary you receive, there are better options. The road is wide and the sky is vast; don’t bury your own strengths. Alternatively, make up your mind to work hard for 1–2 years and build a solid foundation—the industry will offer you decent compensation.

Pros

1. Clear-headed boss:

During the interview, the boss seemed to be someone who was clear-headed and understood the company’s positioning and development goals.

2. Low turnover:

The colleague who previously held the position I applied for stayed for five years, and the other office staff also appeared to be fairly experienced.

Cons

The company feels rather old-fashioned.
