Extremely disrespectful of professional expertise—“amateurish” and “blindly ignorant.” They only trust “nonprofessional” “vendor sales representatives” and do not trust “professional employees.”

They do charity work externally and have built a very good brand image, but internally they are “traditional,” extremely “lacking in logic and formal systems,” and overly “Taiwanese” in style. The managers are “emotional and unreasonable.”

“We’re spending this much money, so shouldn’t you have some ideas and professional expertise of your own? If we’re just going to make something like this, there’s no need to waste time specifically asking me to come out and take a look.”

The interviewer’s communication was unreliable. After merely arranging a time, they ended the contact; the email did not specify the exact interview location, so only after arriving did I discover that the address found online was a restaurant. The actual interview took place at another soy milk shop = =

At the start of the interview, the interviewer also seemed to have forgotten about it and looked as though they had been suddenly called out, making it feel like they were completely out of the loop. The entire interview was conducted in the “front area” of a soy milk shop, with customers eating desserts and drinking soy milk beside and nearby. It was extremely noisy throughout, and I couldn’t tell whether the interviewer was really listening. The interview itself was also rushed. Although I had sent over my résumé, the interviewer had not prepared anything and required me to prepare another copy for them on the spot.

If you do go for an interview, I recommend confirming the location and follow-up contact information clearly. If you don’t ask specifically, anything you send over afterward may disappear without a trace, and you will receive no response.

The overall branding is very strong

The interviewer indicated that this role covers a wide range of responsibilities, and that people who choose this job are generally motivated primarily by a sense of accomplishment. They also revealed that most hires are recent university graduates. Due to financial considerations, I therefore declined the second practical test.

In addition, the interviewer’s screening of applicants was not thorough at all. During the actual interview and the presentation and explanation of work samples, they clearly displayed an attitude of “this is not the talent I’m looking for,” which made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected.

Overall, the interview experience was not very good.
