If you’re an Adidas die-hard fan who wants to fight tooth and nail to get into a multinational brand corporation, think twice. The people inside act like they’re above everyone else.

To be direct, if you’re hesitating:

There are plenty of candidates out there.

The job openings are all dressed up. An experienced digital applicant can tell immediately that this is a company with unclear divisions of responsibility. You’re expected to understand both online and offline execution, but the salary is based on online work—and is lower than the market rate. How could you possibly do all that?!

You’re told that you must dress in an Adidas style for the interview.

On the day, the HR representative wears a wrinkled Adidas jacket

and shoes from another brand!?!?!?

They will keep asking how much you like Adidas.

You’d better prepare 800 reasons why you love it.

They love Adidas die-hard fans the most—

people who throw themselves into it wholeheartedly and devote themselves without reservation.

Personal reflections:

1. This is a place where hard work basically gets you nowhere; the promotion system is extremely rigid.

2. The company culture offers little freedom. You have to watch every word and action; it’s not as free as the company’s brand and external image suggest.

3. If you care about money, this place isn’t suitable for you.

4. People who smile without warmth are everywhere. Don’t be surprised.

The interview included a glass of water.

The HR representative’s attitude in the one-on-one office interview was extremely poor (at the Zhongshan District, Minquan East Road location). She was very arrogant. She asked whether I had any questions, and when I asked one, she rudely said, “Hasn’t no one told you that already?” (Actually, no, they hadn’t!) She kept urging me to ask questions quickly while clearly showing that she did not want to answer them. Perhaps this is just the company’s procedure: she had to escort me to the elevator, but she kept rolling her eyes the entire way, which made me feel terrible!!! I went there looking for a job but was treated as if I were being humiliated. It’s unbelievable that this is still a multinational corporation. Perhaps because of its reputation, HR looks down on people? This was a very unpleasant interview experience that left a deep shadow in my mind and was completely inconsistent with the image of a large foreign company I had imagined.
