Pros

The interviewer was very nice. Overall, it seems quite suitable for recent graduates to gain experience (I think....

Cons

Have you ever experienced an interview process that was unbelievably awkward? This company made it happen for you.

When I arrived, they immediately asked me to fill out the applicant’s basic information at their counter/warehouse area. Have you ever experienced an interview process that was unbelievably awkward? This company made it happen for you.

The interview form was also filthy because it had been poorly photocopied.

Only after I finished writing did they take me to a meeting room in their upstairs office to wait for the interviewer.

Oh~ by the way, during this entire time, they didn’t even offer a glass of water~

Before long, the interviewer came in, and the whole interview process was just awkward.

It seemed that, because the supervisor was unavailable, they had brought in a substitute interviewer. They didn’t properly introduce their own company, and I had to guide the conversation myself and proactively show my portfolio before the other person gradually understood what they needed.

It seemed that, because the supervisor was unavailable, they had brought in a substitute interviewer. They didn’t properly introduce their own company, and I had to guide the conversation myself and proactively show my portfolio before the other person gradually understood what they needed.

When I asked many questions about the job responsibilities and work environment, the answers were also very vague, giving me the impression that they expected you to know and do everything.

Finally, the salary and benefits were also very inflexible. When I asked whether there was room for an increase or a bonus system, they only said that it would be subject to the supervisor’s evaluation and might be adjusted.

The overall feeling throughout the interview was that professionalism was not really respected. It felt like working there would be a bad experience.

Pros

The information required to fill out for the interview did not contain any particularly difficult questions. The interview was very quick and did not exceed 30 minutes, but I felt there was little chance of being hired.

Cons

Applied for an administrative specialist position, with a salary of NT$35K–40K.

During the formal interview, the interviewer even asked me whether I had brought my résumé. I was dumbfounded. Normally, the company should print out the applicant’s résumé in advance. Even if the company did not want to print it themselves, they should have informed applicants before the interview that they needed to bring a résumé. The interviewer also criticized my many years of work experience as lacking professionalism. If that was the case, why invite me to the interview in the first place? It was also a waste of time.
