Pros

There is a high level of mutual support among colleagues, because you can only rely on your colleagues.

Cons

1. Before joining, you should be mentally prepared: you may frequently see your own story being shared in certain design groups, presented from the perspective of someone portraying themselves as a victim and judging the assistants who are doing their utmost. Then a bunch of designers will only read the surface-level text and leave comments below to mutually support and comfort one another... Whether this will affect your future job search is for you to judge.

If you have friends in the design field, you might want to look through the content on Facebook and make your own assessment.

2. At other companies, elevation drawings may take 7–10 days to complete. But here, once you have finished the 3D drawing, someone may think that the elevation drawings should all be generated automatically and wonder why they are not finished yet.

3. Personal attacks, asking employees whether there is something wrong with their brains, while still thinking they are being humorous.

4. The boss is very good at painting an overly rosy picture. You should not take everything they say too seriously. They say they will provide design bonuses, but no one has ever received one. Project bonuses also end up being subject to numerous deductions.

5. All the predecessors have left, so you are left to rely on your own efforts....

6. After starting work, it is best to confirm whether you are actually covered by labor and health insurance.

7. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, there has been neither work from home nor staggered scheduling. Employees all work at the same large table.

Even when some people have colds and cough intensely, they usually do not wear masks. Everyone ends up catching a cold from the coughing, and no one seems to think it is a problem: apparently, your resistance is too weak, so you should exercise.

8. As in the comment below from several years ago, during company gatherings, you will be forced to talk about the company’s strengths (personally witnessed).

Pros

1. When the boss goes abroad for a trip, they show consideration for employees by allowing them to leave work on time.

2. At the year-end party, the boss gives out a NT$3,000 red envelope, split among three people, and you also have to give a speech expressing your gratitude to the boss. The boss also gives employees a lecture at the year-end party, making even the party a fulfilling experience.

3. A great place to strengthen your mental fortitude.

4. The boss thinks they are not an exploitative employer.

5. At noon, the boss gives you work, preventing you from eating lunch and helping you lose weight.

6. Ten minutes before the end of the workday, the boss gives you work and then tells you that this is a responsibility-based system: you can only leave after finishing it, which cultivates your sense of responsibility.

Cons

1. Low salary.

2. No overtime pay, yet despite the responsibility-based system, there is no profit sharing.

3. You’ll know once you join.
