Once the SGS audits began, employee turnover at Jiankong became extremely high.
The corporate culture is unfriendly, and the pressure in the sales-performance departments is extremely high. You have to reach a certain threshold before the commission becomes generous and the salary becomes (relatively) presentable.
If employees do not reach the threshold, they often feel very powerless, as though they are working for nothing, and may simply choose to take the base salary instead (the base salary for sales positions is NT$22,000).
As for entrepreneurs from Kaohsiung, I think they are all very stingy and will cut personnel costs wherever possible. For example, E-DA is the same.
The front-desk salary is NT$27,000. The morning shift has to open at 5 a.m., while the evening shift closes at 1 a.m. Besides standing for long periods, the work is more varied than that of administrative positions elsewhere, and employees also have to comply with standardized audits. Personally, I think publicly listed companies should have systems in place, but many of the relevant regulations are unnecessary for employees. If you are considering joining a sweatshop, please think twice!
Operations staff can do the job. The pay is relatively high, but the pressure is very great. I recommend that you consider working at a newly opened branch.
Operations staff: Lots of tasks, many demands, little pay, a lot of responsibility, long standby hours, and many SOPs. You have to manage everything. If you really have no other work options, you can work at the front desk.
Customer service staff: Same as above. The pay is slightly higher than that of front-desk staff, but you are responsible for an absurdly large number of things. Everything is related to you—even cleaning not being done thoroughly is your responsibility. You have to manage every detail. Think carefully before applying.

Overtime exceeding half an hour does not count as overtime unless approved by a supervisor, and it is impossible to leave on time for the late shift (midnight). (The venue closes at midnight, but surely the supervisor knows that customers will not leave on time, right?) You’ll be held up for about ten minutes every day.
The coaches’ working hours are extremely long. Although the one fixed day off and one flexible rest day policy is now in place, there is still a lot of miscellaneous administrative work to do. While the benefits are currently acceptable, the atmosphere inside is becoming increasingly similar to that of a certain chain. Please think carefully before joining.
