Because the senior employees who manage to stay are either very selfish or very friendly, those who can find a way to fit in can make money. There is not much business expertise that needs to be continuously supplemented, and even customer service staff can handle some business-related work.

The entire work environment requires a high degree of self-discipline, but there are also many unreasonable demands. Usually, newcomers are exploited based on seniority, and you also have to be thick-skinned. If you are shameless enough, you can ignore miscellaneous duties and focus on making money.

New employees are basically not respected as colleagues. Partly, this is because veteran employees will see whether you genuinely want to stay so they can “educate” (exploit) you. Those who survive are usually very passionate about this industry and are the type who would continue working hard in the same industry even if they were no longer at this company.
