Pros

No advantages

Cons

It has reached the point where it is difficult to evaluate. After this company was taken over by the Hsu family, it became completely lacking in structure. There was even a financial dispute at the store before. Since taking over the store, they never reconciled the accounts. It was only when the manager was preparing to change careers that they said they wanted to reconcile the accounts from six months earlier. Then, after discovering a problem, they did not reconcile the accounts with the head office accountant and instead directly accused employees of theft. The people in charge did not install surveillance cameras themselves, and then, without evidence, used intimidation to force employees to admit to it. The methods were unbelievable. I do not know who would want to work for such an unstructured company, but if you do, consider it carefully. The pay is low and there is a lot of work, and you also need to be careful not to be bullied by those above you.

Pros

At the time, I worked across two shifts but was provided only one meal. I'm not sure whether this counts as a benefit; I would have preferred not to be provided a meal and to be paid the equivalent amount instead.

Cons

The pay was really low—almost at the minimum wage stipulated by the Labor Standards Act at the time.

The atmosphere at the store where I worked (my workplace was not the Da’an store) was not very good. The pay was low and there was an excessive amount of work. If you want to work in food service anyway, you could directly consider another place—the workload is just as heavy, but the pay would definitely be higher. When I resigned, I don't know which portion of my pay was deducted, but I had already interviewed for another job and felt that arguing over the pay would be too much trouble, so I let it go.
