Pros

None!

Cons

The following is my personal interview experience:

1. The interview did not introduce the job responsibilities or benefits at all. Instead, throughout the interview, they used profanity to criticize current employees, saying that 20% annual growth in performance was extremely poor.

2. Throughout the interview, they repeatedly tried to lead the interviewee to agree with their own criticism that the hero in his 50s who sacrificed himself to save others during the random stabbing incident on the Taipei Metro on 12/19 was overestimating his own abilities, and that the motorcyclist who was attacked while stopped at a red light was stabbed because they did not react quickly enough. These views were completely unrelated to the interview and showed an extreme lack of empathy!

Pros

The colleagues are easy to get along with, and transportation is convenient.

Cons

1. It is effectively a family business. Although the owner's younger sister claims to be an ordinary employee, she actually has some decision-making authority. She often badmouths employees to the owner behind their backs. Her position is in operations, but she does not do what someone in operations should handle; she often tells the planning or design staff to handle and communicate about those matters. When she is unhappy, she frequently yells at others.

2. The owner's aesthetic sense is so old-fashioned that it feels like he is living in another dimension. He cannot accept new things and often disregards clients' suggestions, instead teaching the designers to create designs according to his own preferences.

3. The owner calls himself a salesperson, yet he often blames the planning staff when performance is poor. In this company, the planning staff have to take all the blame.

4. The siblings often treat clients like idiots. When they want to win a project, they excessively fawn over clients and use all kinds of connections to secure it; after getting it, they execute whatever they want in their own self-important manner.

5. Overall, they even say that the company has no such thing as systems or SOPs—the owner is the rule.

Pros

- The old commercial district is nearby, with many snacks to choose from, and the area around the Confucius Temple is pleasant.

- The colleagues are easy to get along with and answer questions very patiently.

Cons

- The boss’s aesthetic is extremely, extremely terrible and old-fashioned—so outdated that it will shock your worldview and all five senses. When working with him, you cannot have ideas of your own; if he says to change it, you change it! He is inconsistent and may say something completely different the next second. He will constantly stand behind you and point things out, and use messaging apps to control you while you revise your designs. His catchphrases are: “Hurry up,” “A little faster,” “Too slow,” “Why are you so slow?” and “Look at so-and-so—they finished it in no time.”

- The boss has a lecherous tendency; please beware of sexual harassment in the workplace.

- The boss freely uses profanity during meetings and smokes. Those who refuse to be exposed to secondhand smoke should think twice.

- The boss, the planner, and the 3D team will constantly pressure you for things without giving a deadline, only saying “as soon as possible,” making it impossible to schedule your work. You may also be called into meetings at any time. Errors in the planner’s communication can lead to drawing mistakes that the boss will blame on you. Driving the 2D team crazy is only a matter of time.

Based on current observations, almost none of the company’s employees have been there for more than two years. Those who aren’t afraid of risking their lives are welcome to give it a try.
