You really shouldn't work here!!
The average salary is NT$24,000 (for all internal staff).
Previously, the departments were very good at pushing responsibilities onto one another. In particular, the section heads are usually all smiles, but as soon as a project comes up, they start kicking the hot potato around.
On top of being an insurance brokerage, this is also a family business. The executives only like the salespeople; internal staff are treated as if they aren't human. The salespeople's benefits are unbelievably good, while the internal staff's salaries and bonuses are pitifully low.
The turnover rate is high, and the salespeople are arrogant toward the internal staff. Most of the executives are family members, so there is never any chance to get ahead. Moreover, many people in senior positions have terrible attitudes—for example, a certain regional vice president. No wonder the company is constantly hiring; people quit and run away as soon as possible after joining.
Is the employee atmosphere harmonious?
A typical family business—the managers are almost all family members. Salaries are far below the industry standard. Management hopes employees won’t work overtime, but in reality, who doesn’t work unpaid overtime?
The top boss is a good person, but doesn’t really manage things, which allows those below to slack off on self-control. However, everyone can see what this reckless manager is doing—if they get caught.
The head of the software department has absolutely no sense of responsibility and lax self-management. When erroneous decisions cause problems, they push everything onto the people below who do the actual work. It’s truly a case of the greater the ability, the lighter the responsibility.
