Read the community guidelinesI heard the office is very beautiful.
At first, the company proactively invited me to an interview through 104. The first interview with the supervisor was also pleasant, and we scheduled a second interview that same day. However, two days later, they called to cancel the second interview, saying that they would review my application based on the first interview and my written résumé, and that I could call again if I had any questions. After waiting a few days, I decided to call and ask about the review results to show my enthusiasm, but was told that the review was still in progress. Then they scheduled another second interview with me—so what was the reason for canceling the previous one?
The second interview turned out to be an extremely unpleasant experience. One interviewer, a woman who did not introduce herself or explain the position at all, focused her questions on criticizing the fact that I had only about two years of previous work experience and that it was not entirely in the same field. If that was a concern, why did you invite me to interview in the first place? Moreover, this was already the second interview. Shouldn’t work experience have been evaluated during the first interview? Was the purpose of canceling and then rescheduling the second interview simply to reject me based on my work experience? It was a complete waste of time. During the pandemic, you still made the interviewee travel to the company for an in-person interview, and after making two trips, I was treated this way. It was an extremely unpleasant experience.
Pros
Large company with many employees and large-scale projects
Newcomers can quickly broaden their horizons
Many departments, allowing you to quickly become “socialized”
Cons
Overtime is unpaid; bonuses and compensatory time off are promised but impossible to obtain
Leaving the company at 10 p.m. is considered normal
Department heads scheme against one another, making cooperation difficult
Externally, the company claims that its division of labor is clear and efficient
In reality, departments operate independently and rely on makeshift, old-fashioned methods
All show on the outside, but rotten within
Didn't feel any.
The office has an attractive appearance and is located in a prime area, but the salary is so low that you'll be stunned. Why don't they properly read the desired salary stated on the résumé? Why waste interviewees' time? On top of that, once you arrive, you have to fill out a tedious and lengthy standard résumé form and wait. Every staff member inside looks so sour. To put it nicely, that kind of salary is selling a dream. No wonder everyone inside is so skinny and young—it reminded me of scenes of enslaved people picking cotton. If they can't afford to pay, they shouldn't waste people's time. Enslaved people picking cotton might even have earned more.
