The staff turnover rate is high, and there is often insufficient staffing or no effort to recruit replacements,
so current employees need to work overtime, with one person doing the work of several,
but despite the high number of overtime hours, they are criticized for lacking ability,
forcing employees to work overtime without clocking in just to finish the job.
A certain managerial couple in the Taoyuan–Hsinchu area secretly looks through employees’ LINE messages when they are away from their desks.
They want to know who employees are chatting with and what they are talking about,
and may even secretly install voice recorders or other surveillance equipment in the office to record employees’ conversations.
They demand that employees completely submit to the two of them so that they can rule like local emperors.
When something goes wrong on the client’s end, employees are made to pay to settle the matter even when the problem was clearly caused by the client.

If you want to retire and have someone highly servile who obediently listens to you, this place may be suitable.
I originally thought I could learn a professional skill in the wedding industry, but because management does not value lighting and sound and takes a “having it is good enough” attitude, there has been no opportunity for development. I then thought I could at least just do my assigned work, but I was continually exploited. During the construction of the venue, management wanted to save money and refused to outsource the work, making us go onto the construction site ourselves. There were also no rewards; it was treated as if it were only natural. In the end, whether it was event planning or being asked to serve as a driver for other departments of the company, as well as doing front-of-house work, these were completely outside our responsibilities. They simply threw out the question, “Is there anything wrong with me, so-and-so, asking you to do these things?” I ask: Would you require professionals in IT or legal affairs to do tasks inside and outside their assigned duties? Why should our expertise be trampled on?
Please respect professional expertise. If we have no value to offer, just ask us to leave.
Forcing employees to take their annual leave is plainly illegal. Please think carefully.
