Pros

The benefits are fairly good.

Cons

It is essentially the original team from Juchang Technology. Basically, many people do not do much and shift responsibility onto one another. As long as it is convenient for them to do their jobs, the administrative departments are satisfied, so the production departments have to accommodate them. The administrative departments speak very loudly, and the production staff are treated almost entirely as “workers” and “servants.” If you are considering joining, please apply to another company instead, because the administrative departments are also very problematic. I do not want to say too much—there is too much to cover. It may be destined to go bankrupt for the third time. The owner of Hanmin privately bought it, perhaps to make the accounts look good before selling it to someone else. Take note: this is not a place where you can stay for long.

Pros

It depends on the department supervisor; compared with the Labor Standards Act, there are also 7 days of flexible leave.

Whether the workload is demanding depends on the department.

Cons

HR has a very high-handed attitude (they’re not lacking in business).

Pros

The vacation policy is the same as the parent company’s, which is a small consolation.

Cons

Juchang’s overall culture is extremely poor; no wonder it went under. Later, it was revived with support from another company, yet it still did not change its way of doing things. People within Juchang’s departments do not even know what they are supposed to do and spend all day passing the buck. The RD department designs things itself but surprisingly does not know what data it should provide for others’ reference. The vice president sent by the parent company only seems to like people who worship him… The factory management has no real understanding of operations, and Customer Service and RD have never coordinated properly, repeatedly causing equipment designs to fail and then blaming the Manufacturing department. Now that the company is operating at a loss, RD is the department responsible for the most design failures and spending, yet the year-end bonuses and other bonuses of other departments are being cut. Just great. There is much more besides this. If you are truly talented, I really recommend that you do not come here; you would be better off going abroad. This is a company that TSMC did not want, and one that AUO did not want.

Pros

The supervisor is actually pretty good, but the entire company’s public image has been ruined by HR.

Cons

HR is extremely disrespectful to interviewees and occupies their position without doing their job.

Whether contacted through 104 or asked by a colleague to return the call, they never respond.

If you are lucky enough to get HR on the phone, they will snap at the interviewee, asking why they called to follow up if they had not received a response.

HR’s attitude makes you feel that bringing you in to meet their performance targets is simply taken for granted.

They do not care how much time or transportation costs you spend attending the interview.

Job seekers considering interviewing at this company are advised to think twice.

Pros

The assistant was very proactive in inviting me to an interview.

Cons

They showed very little respect for job applicants.

I traveled all the way to Hsinchu for the interview.

After I finished filling out the information, they told me the supervisor was in a video conference.

Without conducting any interview, they told me to go home and wait for notification.

I came for an interview, not to fill out forms.

When I left, I saw that there were still other people waiting for interviews.
