At the beginning, I was asked to fill out their résumé, followed by answering 90 personality-trait questions. Then, a woman explained the job details to me. This had already taken at least half an hour. Afterward, the woman left the meeting room and asked me to wait for the manager to interview me. However, the manager was still busy talking on the phone. After finally finishing the call, he went to chat with the woman, and then continued making phone calls after their chat. I was left sitting alone in the meeting room waiting for him for a very long time.
When he finally interviewed me, he asked whether I had any special skills. I said I could use Office software, but he replied that this was basic and did not need to be mentioned. He then asked whether I knew CAD. When I said I did not, the interviewing manager said coldly, “So you can’t do anything, then.” What was important was that the requirements listed on the job bank all said “no specific requirements.”
I didn't experience any.
I received an invitation saying that my abilities were a good fit for the position, but during the interview, the supervisor asked about the responsibilities of my previous job and then judged from that alone that I was unsuitable for this position.
Moreover, the actual job responsibilities were completely different from what was written in the invitation, and they kept asking, “So, do you still want to continue the discussion?”
We did not discuss the actual work at all.
I feel that if they do not understand the situation at all and have no sincerity, they should not waste other people's time and money by making them travel to an interview.
