HR proactively invited me to an interview, but after we agreed on a time, they unexpectedly sent an email canceling it just ten minutes before the online interview, saying they would reschedule. There was no further contact or apology afterward. This behavior was extremely disrespectful to job applicants. Anyone planning to interview should think twice.
Coasting and slacking off
The company’s systems operate inefficiently
Benefits keep being cut
A highly competitive sunset industry
Senior management was parachuted in as a group; they lack the ability to operate a brand and have an ODM mindset. Their professional capabilities are also very poor
Employees who have worked for a long time have no path to promotion
The company’s most capable people are leaving one by one, and its competitiveness is continually being lost. It was once a very good company, but the bureaucratic system has ruined it
The company cannot recruit graduates from top national universities. It has not conducted employee training for decades, and HR is not being properly managed
The company is stagnant and severely aged, clings to outdated practices, and has several managers nearing retirement occupying key positions
You can get decent coffee beans for 10 NTD.
The mobile software team is severely understaffed. One person handles Android development, and the new department director doesn’t understand technology. They keep complaining that your progress is too slow. There are more than a dozen issues a day, and they’re still not satisfied. If you want to resign, they’ll even say you’re irresponsible and that their project can’t be completed on schedule. The director only cares about progress and doesn’t treat you like a person. App development requires framework support, but anything below the framework level is handled by the parent company, Coretronic. As a result, you can’t get anything you need—everything is decided by Coretronic, as if Coretronic were the one selling the product. Coretronic used C to create an architecture that isn’t MQTT but called it MQTT. Even the technically capable manager quickly took an extended leave of absence; I don’t know whether they’ve returned.
The manager proactively reached out through 104 and shared a lot about the work involved and how he leads his team. During the interview, he even talked more than I did—it was quite unique. The managers I spoke with all seemed very sincere and respectful of the projects shared by the interviewees (I have encountered managers at Pegatron and Junyi who asked, “What’s the purpose of doing this?”).
The HR process was a bit slow. I had to wait for a while before the interview. Later, I was told that the assessment would take half an hour to complete, but it took an hour before it finally became available.
The role involves business intelligence, but it falls under MIS. The R&D component is greater than I expected.

After arranging the interview time, the HR representative responded slowly.
The interview time was rescheduled again and again, but could not be finalized.
The last time an interview slot was offered,
HR said there should be no problem,
that they would confirm with the supervisor and then send an email.
There was still no news by the day before the scheduled interview.
I proactively sent an email to ask, only to be told that the position’s scope had been adjusted and all interviews for this position had been suspended...
The supervisor’s technical abilities should be quite strong.
HR said they would give me an answer in a week,
but then they just ghosted me.
1 . Friendly attitude
1 . The company proactively invited me to interview, and the supervisor repeatedly emphasized and explained that they indeed needed to find this type of engineer. However, 80% of the interview questions were not related to the same field, which made it feel insincere and was a complete waste of the job seeker’s time.
