Pros

1. They contacted me for an interview just two days after I submitted my résumé.

2. There was a simple psychological test and an English test.

3. The receptionist was very friendly.

Cons

1. The interviewer for the e-commerce department was completely unprepared. I had never encountered an interview where the interviewer asked no questions.... (After that, I had to initiate all the conversation myself.)

2. The supervisor did not ask many questions either... but I was accepted anyway.... It felt like they were really short-staffed.

3. When HR notified me that I had been accepted, I indirectly discovered that they hoped employees would sign a one-year contract in exchange for a possible salary increase.... This was their way of retaining people.

Pros

Invited to an interview on the day I submitted my résumé

The interview lasted about 20 minutes

Required to complete a test online before the interview

Very time-consuming

Cons

No response after the interview

I had to ask about the interview results myself

Even though they clearly said during the interview that they would proactively inform me

Overall, the interview process was not very respectful toward job applicants

The office building was very old

Even the lights on the first floor kept flickering⋯⋯

A colleague, Chen 〇jie, from a certain R&D department at the headquarters of Tatung Company (No. 22, Section 3, Zhongshan North Road, Taipei City),

frequently colluded with the head of the neighboring department (which was abolished after a reorganization) (she once even took advantage of a male colleague's lack of preparedness to ambush him in the stomach; she has already taken the workplace sexual harassment course once and still wants to take it again? Does she want to be sued?)

One of this colleague's biggest offenses during work was throwing dirty dishwashing water at a colleague (a physical act).

The dirty water came into contact with a large area of the person's clothing and skin.

This behavior was extremely dangerous! The company environment already has lots of cockroaches and rats—how would anyone know what bacteria or viruses were in it?

She wanted to infect someone with COVID-19 and become a breach in epidemic prevention.

After the incident, she flatly denied it and even counteraccused others.

The male colleagues around her, driven solely by lust and not concerned with right and wrong, blindly supported this woman's domineering and unreasonable behavior after she spun some smooth-talking lies.

Only someone with poor emotional management would deliberately attack a colleague. Is this elementary-school behavior? Or are you trying to get the company to fire you? In any case, the company does not lack an employee like you.

At the same time, because of her inadequate professional abilities, this colleague often troubles several colleagues to solve the difficulties in her work (turning them into people who do things for her).

It would be one thing if other colleagues helped, but if things do not go as she wishes, she gets angry and refuses to work, fully acting out a princess syndrome (the unit is predominantly male, and she seems to think she is one of the few women in the unit).

She makes it seem as though the work was originally someone else's responsibility rather than hers.

Yet at the same time, she boasts about her excellent academic performance at school, creating a stark contrast with the way she performs.

The gap between her actual abilities and her ability to brag is baffling.

She even pressures others to do things that have absolutely nothing to do with them.

She also directly abandoned the entire project instead of doing it. Your supervisor knew about it and said nothing. If you do not want to work, return your salary to the company and help it reduce costs—let's stand together through difficult times.

Even more reprehensible, in order to retaliate against a certain colleague, her personal actions indirectly interfered with a collaborative project between the company and a school.

Fortunately, other colleagues managed to turn the situation around, so nothing actually went wrong or alerted the leaders on either side.

She may not know that this behavior could anger the teachers at the school.

All I can say is that maliciously blocking someone else's livelihood is truly shameful.

While complaining that the workload is too heavy, she maintains such a domineering and unreasonable attitude in retaliating against colleagues who once helped her.

Now, one capable colleague after another has left her; she is truly good at destroying teams.

In any case, what replaces them is her already enormous workload plus an even more enormous workload. How pitiful!

I know that many Tatung employees have complaints about their salaries, and some of them truly have ideals, ambitions, and solid abilities!

But she often taunts others by saying, “With a German master's degree, my qualifications would be worth more than this outside!!!”

She keeps shouting that a German master's graduate cannot even earn XXk at Tatung, while the work is plentiful, and this work experience is embarrassing and will delay her bright future if written on her résumé!

It's laughable. Some people may not even be able to get into this well-known company, yet you spend all day here showing off your mouth?

She repeatedly says that she truly cannot take it anymore and wants to leave immediately, insisting that she must resign! “If I had known, I would have gone to 〇〇 Company instead of Tatung.”

There is nothing wrong with having a foreign master's degree, and this is not discrimination. The problem is your incompetence professionally. The figure you shout about is attainable by only a few people, but you are not qualified to earn it. You are only fit to receive your salary of just over thirty thousand dollars, understand? You often squat in the restroom for 40 minutes, occupying the toilet without doing anything, acting like a salary thief; otherwise, you look for people to gossip and chat with, slacking off and loafing around. You are not worth this money, okay?

Job seekers are advised to carefully choose their department and the colleagues around them!!! Be careful of colleagues like this, whose character is zero and who only know how to pressure others into doing their work!!!

Pros

1. Convenient location and transportation (Section 3, Zhongshan North Road).

2. Nothing else.

Cons

1. Interview process: HR provided a personnel résumé form and an application questionnaire. After completing them, applicants were required to bring hard copies to the interview in person on the day of the interview.

*The personnel résumé form included the salary for every previous job, as well as the names, job titles, and phone numbers of direct supervisors and colleagues from the same unit;

*The application questionnaire included explanations of the aspects the applicant agreed/disagreed with in their most recent job, the aspects they prioritized in their next job, the role they hoped to take on over the next three years, the qualities that would make them suitable for the position, and the reasons the company attracted them, among other things. Even writing brief answers to the application questionnaire took more than an hour; however, these were all common interview questions, so it was difficult to understand why they could not simply be asked during the interview.

2. Interview format: I asked whether, during the pandemic, the company could be flexible and conduct the interview by video. HR said that only in-person, on-site interviews were accepted.

3. Interview environment: A roofless, lightly partitioned meeting room next to the guard room. The soundproofing was basically nonexistent, and conversations outside the meeting room directly affected the interview. Overall, it was a factory-style design (not industrial style—there is a big difference).

4. The limited job budget was not disclosed: Shortly after the interview began, the employer directly stated that the budget for the position was several tens of thousands of dollars lower than my expected compensation. I pointed out that my expected compensation was stated on the résumé I submitted through 104; it was not something I had only brought up on site. If the company was willing to invite me for an interview, it should have believed there was room for discussion. The employer merely said that HR must have overlooked it.

5. The worst interview experience, without a doubt: From sitting down to walking out the door, the interview lasted only about 15 minutes. However, taking half a day off and spending one or two hours beforehand filling out forms and taking aptitude tests were all time costs borne by the applicant. It is difficult to put the employer’s arrogance and lack of respect into words.

Pros

You can learn a lot about society while working at the store.

Cons

The staff at the store need to work well together. Poor communication and coordination can lead to many problems.

There are target quantities for key products, and you will often encounter situations where you have to absorb the cost yourself.

The salary structure changes frequently, and there is no overtime pay.

You can think of it as a traditional electronics store. Besides looking after the store and introducing products, you often have to handle repairs and deliveries yourself, because they are all considered part of customer service.

Pros

Can't think of any.

Cons

Interviewed for a project manager position, mainly handling projects for the Bureau of Labor Insurance.

The office is located on the third floor of the Textile and Apparel Research and Development Center building opposite the Bureau of Labor Insurance.

The environment was extremely run-down, even worse than a school lab.

Upon arrival, I was first asked to use the HR desktop computer to take a 104 aptitude test.

Next, I went to a very shabby conference room; the environment was really uncomfortable.

I waited over 10 minutes for the interviewing manager, who arrived very late.

After talking for less than 10 minutes, they asked me to leave without even offering a glass of water.

They were also completely indifferent during the conversation, making it impossible to have a proper discussion.

We're all working adults—there's no need to put on such airs.

When I left, I discovered that the company didn't even have a sign.

They had simply written “Datong” on packing tape and stuck it on the entrance door.

A truly disastrous office environment.

After the interview, I was ghosted.

Pros

Tatung Company

Regular working hours, with occasional overtime.

The factory workplace provides free lunch and a free shuttle bus. One movie ticket per year, and a household-appliance-type gift around Labor Day each year.

Cons

Tatung Company

A company suitable for developing your abilities, and its strong reputation can help with future job changes. However, young people with ambitions are advised not to stay too long, as it may diminish their drive to advance. Each business division has a different working style, and circumstances vary, so it is difficult to make a general statement.

Pros

Don't want to write

Cons

The two psychologically disturbed supervisors in Tatung Company’s Digital Product Audio Business Division (No. 22, Section 3, Zhongshan North Road, Taipei City) used the excuse that I had 【closed a drawer too loudly】 in the office to issue me a three-week dismissal notice on the spot in April 2007. During those three weeks, I lived through hellish office life! 【The female supervisor’s abuses were as follows】: 1. First, she verbally insulted my abilities, character, and way of doing things. 2. She mocked me for not understanding what foreign clients were saying. 3. She deliberately made trouble for me in front of other colleagues. 4. With a nasty attitude and by raising her voice, she ordered me to hand over my work to someone else! 5. She incited colleagues in the same department to ostracize me; during meetings, she told other colleagues to block me outside the meeting room. 【The bald male supervisor’s abuses were as follows】: On my final day of employment, I had just sat down and spoken for less than two minutes because I wanted to negotiate better departure terms with the male supervisor. The male supervisor became extremely displeased, jumped up from his chair, and struck the wall hard three times with his hand. He shouted loudly: 【You get the hell out of here right now! After you pack your things and have the security guard downstairs inspect them, get out before noon!】 The noise terrified the more than thirty colleagues who were working at around nine in the morning. After I packed my things, I passed a meeting room with its door open and happened to glance inside. I saw that 【bald male supervisor】 actually chatting and laughing with others. I really wasn’t mistaken! Really! He was truly 【laughing~heartily】. My God, how could he be so cold-blooded as to 【laugh~heartily】? I had been dismissed in such an inhumane manner, and less than two minutes later, 【the bald male supervisor】 could actually be so cold-blooded as to 【laugh~heartily】. Who will stand up for justice for me! Who will stand up for justice for me! Who will stand up for justice for me! Who will stand up for justice for me!

Tatung Company, if you dare do these things, then don’t be afraid of others finding out about your abuses! You even dared to demand that qollie.com delete my post from May 2017. Let me tell you, you really are 【shameless~emperors】, and also 【the~absolute~worst, ultimate~extreme, completely~rotten!】

Sorry, I would like to ask the moderator: Originally, there was a company page for Tatung called Tatung Company (No. 22, Section 3, Zhongshan North Road, Taipei City), including the headquarters, human resources, finance, motors, consumer electronics, and other departments. In May this year, I left a comment on this company’s page, but now the entire company has disappeared. I checked 104 Job Bank, and the department currently has a total of 95 job openings, which indicates that Tatung Company still exists. Could you please confirm this and restore it as soon as possible? Because, people, people, people—

people, ne~ ne~ ne~ ne—want to let everyone in the world know just how~ how~ much they~! Hate it! I don’t want to say it! Please! Ge~ ge!

Cons

1. Personal experience: In the office, I accidentally closed a drawer too forcefully, my hand slipped, and it made a huge noise, which was enough to anger my supervisor. After receiving my termination notice, during the two weeks before my departure, I was still verbally abused, humiliated, set up, and ostracized by my supervisor. During a meeting, coworkers blocked me outside the meeting room. On my last day, my supervisor even berated me in front of all 40 people in the company before throwing me out!

2. The feeling this company gave me was simply "ab~nor~mal"!

Completely discriminates against new immigrants. After reviewing the résumé, they don't even reply. People are looking for jobs, not begging you for a favor. There's no need to be so arrogant—no wonder you can't hire anyone.
