Read the community guidelinesUnlimited toilet paper!
1. During the probationary period, you must wear a collared shirt or collared polo shirt + black pants or dark-colored jeans + black or white sneakers to work. The shirt, polo shirt, or uniform must be tucked into your pants and worn with a belt. Women in every office department must wear light makeup.
2. After passing the probationary period, the company issues a polo-shirt uniform. However! If you resign before working for half a year or one year, you must pay for the uniform yourself.
3. The motorcycle parking lot on B1 has a “fire-smoke-detection automatic sprinkler.” On rainy days, you don’t need to hold an umbrella when entering the office, but! You must turn off the engine before reaching the parking lot drainage ditch and push your motorcycle into the parking lot; otherwise, excessive smoke will trigger the fire sprinklers.
4. In the office, if you need to use the restroom or leave your seat to take care of something else, you “must inform” colleagues in the same unit.
5. No meals are provided; the group-catering lunch costs $10 per day.
6. After work on Wednesdays and Fridays, you must stay behind to clean. You can only go home after cleaning is finished.
7. The office uses Dingxin Work Flow, yet the work process is paper-based. Organizing the paperwork can make you reach the stage of being completely fed up with life—or even ready to die.
8. New employees are expected to handle three months’ worth of work after three days, and one year’s worth after ten days, continuing in the same manner. You need to have an excellent memory and remember everything at a glance.
9. Overtime pay is available only if a supervisor applies for it. Overtime can last until 8:30 p.m. at the latest, and you must pay for your own dinner during overtime. Usually, colleagues do not eat dinner and often leave at 6:30 p.m. (working hours start at 8:00 a.m.). Everyone in the same department must leave late together.
10. If there is an error in operating the system or work procedures, your colleague will speak to you like a tutoring teacher: “I taught you yesterday; go back and think about it.” When a supervisor sees this situation, they will have a “special meeting” with you and demand that you work faster. You must memorize the “ERP codes” for 30–40 vendors within three days of starting work.
The building is very large (Changhua plant).
It looks very nice from the outside,
but the computer hardware, software, and equipment inside are outdated.
I would also like to know what the office atmosphere is like at the Changhua plant.
Can anyone share?
The workers are good-natured, and the supervisor is quite serious and conscientious when managing people.
However, the director’s attitude was very poor. When paying wages and announcing important matters, he spoke very quietly and dismissively. The worst part was that the salary for the month after I resigned was not paid correctly. Although he had said it would be calculated based on the monthly salary, it was instead calculated as a daily wage, which was less. He said he would ask Human Resources about it, but there was no news afterward. Still, things were busier during that period, so I let it go.
Let me think,
I guess it’s mainly that the pay is better—the monthly salary is slightly higher than at other companies, but…
The company’s internal systems are very poor, and many tasks are completed using outdated methods, making the work very inefficient.
I really dislike it.
The pay is only a little higher; in reality, it doesn't feel like more.
The managers at the Nangang plant are extremely arrogant. The company's attitude is, “If you won't do it, I'll just hire someone else.” It is managed like the military, and they even force you to work overtime. If you don't work overtime, they will threaten you, implying that if you're not good enough, they'll kick you out.
The work atmosphere at the company is extremely poor, and the air quality and environment are terrible. After work, you still have to clean the restrooms. Choose carefully啊啊啊啊啊啊
