Read the community guidelinesOther than having employee parking, I really can’t find—or even think of—any other advantages.
1. As the name suggests, a parking lot is mainly about security-related work. You don’t need to be particularly skilled; being cheap is enough (the pay is what it is anyway). At least major-brand security companies provide the protection of Labor Standards Act overtime pay.
2. Working with incompetent people will make you regress. The pay is low, so you can imagine the quality of the people there. Imagine what it feels like to work at a construction site in Cambodia.
3. It’s a family-run office. The main supervisors play off each other, and most importantly, they even insult and verbally abuse employees. Remember to record them.
4. Don’t be surprised that people who do nothing but talk and have no real ability get hired instead—the company is just like that.
5. Don’t assume your colleagues will take responsibility and help you; whenever something goes wrong, they will shirk responsibility and make excuses.
6. Most importantly, the year-end bonus depends on the boss’s mood. There is basically no pay raise. They spend as little money as possible while working one person to death doing the work of three. To put it bluntly, the people who are continually willing to be exploited are basically those who have been淘汰 by society—people who are willing to endure humiliation because they happen to have been taken in by a company that accepts anyone as long as they provide cheap labor.
The front desk provides water, which is nice! But I was startled when I went to drink it—the ceramic cup was shockingly dirty.
No one from HR interviewed you. After waiting for half an hour, someone finally came out to interview you, and it turned out to be a manager from another department who had nothing to do with the position you applied for.
The salary range advertised was quite good, but during the interview they immediately offered the base salary. They also openly admitted that regardless of your expertise, that was the salary they would offer. The boss prefers hiring young people or recent graduates—as long as the salary is low; if someone leaves, they can simply hire someone else.
