Pros

Given the current situation, I can't think of anything particularly good to say. The company subsidizes overseas employee trips by approximately 10,000–15,000, which may be considered good compared with many companies.

Cons

At present, the most noteworthy issue is probably that software engineers are evaluated based on the “number of commits” they make each day. This also gives an indication of the management's level. There are now very few good engineers left.

Pros

The gambling business has money, but I heard the parent company is close to collapsing.

Cons

I worked there two years ago. Basically, the head of HR was an extreme, suspicious, and insufferable jerk; they’re probably still there.

The various departments within the company also got along very poorly, and the atmosphere was terrible.

Pros

Every second brings you closer to the end.

Cons

Basically, the interviewer was an idiot, and the team was probably mostly idiots too.

The architecture is very small, but it's basically just about gambling with money. Newcomers can come here to hone their skills, but if you're experienced, don't waste your life coming here.

Pros

1. Engineers are under relatively little pressure because the heads of the development departments are all very busy and do not manage us much. The schedules are also reasonably flexible, so delivering work properly is not too difficult—as long as you do not take on a team lead or management position.

2. Eating and drinking are unavoidable; you have to move quickly, or you will not get the food you want.

Cons

1. There are not many opportunities for promotion. Senior employees have occupied the management positions for a long time, so if you want to get ahead, you should look for opportunities elsewhere.

2. Some outdated technologies from ten years ago are still used, and the systems frequently have problems that need fixing. Most of the people familiar with them have already left, so dealing with these issues feels quite helpless.

3. Cooperation between departments often leads to conflicts, and the manager’s short temper causes problems for everyone.

4. Executives from mainland China give direct instructions. Nontechnical people are leading technical experts, and some seemingly inexplicable directives and ideas are confusing.

5. Code version control is also very basic. Multiple development teams work on projects at the same time without separate branches, resulting in a pile of absurd situations and problems that can never be fully dealt with.

Pros

Although HR’s smile was fake, at least they provided water, and they notify you whether or not you are hired.

Cons

The questions asked by the senior R&D interviewer had little to do with whether I could write code. I think they were probably more interested in finding cybersecurity personnel.

Pros

None

Cons

They sent an interview notification, and after I replied to confirm, they called and painted a very positive picture. They also asked me to fill in details about projects I had worked on in the past, and then nothing happened.
