Read the community guidelinesPunctual working hours, and employees get along well with one another (except for the GM).
Senior management lacks a professional technical background and class, and is completely subservient to HQ, unable to provide employees with room for development. If you want to work briefly at a pseudo-foreign company just to add it to your résumé, you might consider it, but the company’s future direction is highly uncertain and its internal systems are inadequate.

When discussing technical issues with the interviewer, if someone else's experience differs from his own,
he speaks to you in a disdainful tone
and then keeps bragging about how easy it is to get promoted at the company, blah blah blah
Overall, the interview process was comfortable. The HR representative was very friendly and attentive to small details (for example, providing a bottle of water and waiting at the entrance to swipe the card and open the door for you when an interviewee went outside to use the restroom). The manager was also very courteous. Even if I might not have been the kind of talent they were looking for, they still listened carefully to my introduction without interrupting me directly, and let me ask questions until I didn’t know what else to ask XD
Work environment:
It is about a five-minute walk from the City Hall MRT station, in a fairly impressive office building. After arriving at the office, you can see at a glance that it has been designed; the office across from it should also belong to Fuhu. The office staff use Mac computers, and I also saw some people working while standing. The work environment feels quite flexible and unlike that of a typical office worker.
Company development:
Fuhu > Mattel > BabyTree
Fuhu initially specialized in children’s tablets, and was later acquired by Mattel. However, at that time the products were designed and developed by American designers, while Taiwan was only responsible for manufacturing. The products developed were ultimately not launched because of some legal issues in the United States. Recently, the business was transferred to the Chinese company BabyTree, and they are jointly developing products related to maternity, childcare, and family applications with BabyTree.
Job responsibilities:
I asked about the department or team for the position. The current product is already in its later stages, and the person in this position would mainly be responsible for designing the UI. There may be a second or third version after the product launches. There are about three or four other people in related positions, but based on the manager’s explanation, they lean more toward UX (with expertise in psychology and other fields). The company culture emphasizes persuading people with research data, so you have to be organized and logical, and logic is highly valued. The manager said they were looking for a partner who could grow together with the company.
At this point, I felt I probably had no chance, because the requirements for this position did not really match my background. It sounded like they were primarily looking for someone focused on UX with UI as a secondary skill, so things became a little awkward as I continued asking questions.
After HR arrived, they asked some common HR questions, such as which work had given me the greatest sense of accomplishment, which had been the most difficult, and why I wanted to do this job, among others. They also asked about my previous salary, but I directly declined to answer. When asked about my expected salary, I said that I was not very familiar with the industry’s market salary standards.

A bunch of entrenched old-timers. Capable people can't get anything done. A great company where bad money drives out good money.
Suitable for newcomers to hone their skills
For the same level of work ability, other companies definitely offer better salary and benefits. Those seeking good compensation need not consider this company.
A group of supervisors who are all less capable than the employees........ They have no expertise, don't know how to lead people, and only engage in infighting.
The company does not let employees know what the interim goals are. It does not establish clear plans or processes for employees to follow, making additional adjustments only after encountering unavoidable factors. The company itself has no plan, leaving employees to take things one step at a time while watching their work items and priorities constantly change.
Internal executives who do not understand the field bully the professionals and completely disrespect the expertise of the R&D team.
