Read the community guidelines1. The department manager is very nice, and you can bring up any ideas you have.
2. The company atmosphere is very relaxed, and overtime is not required. It is quite suitable for people who have a side business to run or have children. It is also suitable for people who are not short of money and have no particular goals, and just want stability.
3. Benefits: snacks (coffee, milk, cookies), a NT$500 birthday cash gift, year-end bonus, year-end dinner, and a company meal once a year.
4. You can take leave often; take it whenever you want—just tell your manager.
1. Location: It is between Yongchun and Xiangshan. The walk from the MRT station to the company takes about 10 minutes, so it is somewhat far. The office is a cramped split-level space that is crowded and poorly ventilated.
2. During the interview, they said there would be at least one month’s year-end bonus and no work on make-up workdays, but in fact neither is true. There are also no holiday cash bonuses.
3. There is no promotion or salary-increase system. Basically, your salary stays at what was agreed upon during the interview.
4. Every time there is a new product, they urge marketing to write the packaging, instruction manual, and copy before even seeing a sample. Aside from clairvoyance, there is really no other way to do it. They always say everything is urgent and rushed, but months later there still is not even a sample.
5. Amazing coworkers: a salesperson who knows nothing about the company’s own products and whose English is not very good. A coworker who watches dramas behind a privacy screen until they cry / browses PTT (but is very good at reporting people—whenever they see someone away from their seat, they report it to the manager ^^). A manager who refuses to maintain the air conditioner to save a little money, even when it is filthy and unbearably smelly, and only calls someone to repair it after it starts spraying water. The list goes on...
6. Information does not circulate, responsibilities are unclear, and everyone is very good at passing the buck. There is no PM or quality-control staff, so products often have problems. Almost every product has major issues after launch, and entire batches being defective is a common occurrence.
7. The longer you stay, the more you feel disconnected from society. It is rather frightening.
**The previous positive interview review was deliberately written with extreme beautification and embellishment because they were afraid they could not find a customer-service scapegoat ^^
The company has relocated and undergone restructuring.
Location:
The company is located near Taipei 101, and scooter parking is fairly convenient.
There are many nearby food options to choose from.
Atmosphere:
Overall, the company is pretty good, and the level of freedom is fairly high.
My department manager is good and responsible in their work.
Benefits, etc.:
Paid sick leave and a birthday bonus are provided.
There is also a snack area and coffee.
Occasionally, the company holds group meals.
The year-end banquet is usually held at a high-end restaurant.
So far, there has been a lucky draw at every year-end, with prizes usually worth a few thousand [New Taiwan dollars]. When the boss is in a good mood, they may add extra prizes.
Everyone at the company is more focused on doing the work within their own responsibilities.
Therefore, information is not very well circulated.
If you have questions, you need to take the initiative to ask or seek answers.
It is more suitable for self-disciplined or experienced people.

The office is extremely noisy because the electronic engineers are usually chatting loudly instead of working, and almost every firmware engineer leaves after a short time. There is no overtime pay, and the supervisor messages you on LINE from time to time. The software department manager is very arrogant and does not need to write code; all they have to do is chat online every day. They have little engineering ability but really enjoy mocking others.

The company really has no structure at all; the same thing can be changed over and over again.
Supervisors also set targets and keep hinting that you should work overtime to finish all sorts of pointless tasks.
The key point is that there is no overtime pay! No overtime pay!!
