Pros

Interviewed for the position of Assistant Engineer

There were 2–3 supervisors interviewing during the interview process.

The first round was with the R&D Manager.

They focused on the applicant’s personal experience and attitude, hoping that the successful candidate could get up to speed as quickly as possible and handle matters of all sizes independently. Ultimately, they hoped the candidate would continue learning and improving themselves. The manager was very polite and unassuming, and was easy to get along with.

2. The second round was with the Chairman, one of the founders who studied in the United States.

They placed greater emphasis on the individual’s experience and educational background, as well as related added value, such as English proficiency, 3D printing, or other relevant skills.

There is no good or bad interview; it is only a matter of whether one can accept the interviewer’s attitude.

Overall, I felt comfortable throughout my interview. Both supervisors were very polite, and they focused on different aspects. Their expectations of candidates likely also reflect certain underlying factors. After all, this is a company that is still developing, so naturally they hope their employees will meet a reasonable standard.

Although I ultimately received a job offer, and the salary and benefits during the probationary period were quite good, unfortunately the notification came too late, as I had already found a job.

P.S.

The company is located in an industrial park and has a small office, so the office environment is relatively basic. Several desks are pushed together, and only the conference room is a separate room.

There is no company uniform. The benefits for the three major holidays and the year-end bonus are unclear.

Cons

Purely sharing my interview experience: The manager personally sent the invitation. There were three interviewers in total, but not one of them had looked at the work the applicant had posted online. They showed no basic respect or consideration for making the applicant feel welcome, treating people like disposable products. From the invitation by HR to the interview with the Stanford founder, the entire process was careless and unprofessional. The founder is from Taichung and seems to be a rich kid from a wealthy family who has no understanding of ordinary people's hardships. He studied abroad at Berkeley as an undergraduate and has an explosively stimulating American-style way of thinking. The entire interview felt extremely unpleasant. It is a careless manager and company, and there is a very high chance that this kind of company will go under.
