The company is very close to an MRT station, making transportation convenient, and the office environment is clean and bright.
An extremely terrible experience. I waited for nearly 50 minutes, but the interviewer never showed up (I was stunned). Although the HR staff member who collected my information was very polite, leaving a candidate waiting for nothing was extremely unprofessional. If I was unable to provide my expected salary (a required field) or failed to meet the written test requirements, they could have simply explained it and asked me to leave on the spot—either would have been fine! It is hard to imagine that I was applying for an HR position… Candidates are not only potential future employees of a company, but also potential current or future customers. The way this company handled the interview is very damaging to its employer brand image!
I feel that the HR partners at this company have a very difficult time. It seems they are unable to maintain a good working relationship with the HR manager; otherwise, such a basic mistake—having a candidate show up without conducting the interview—should not have happened.

1. Despite having relevant work experience at the interview, the starting salary was the same as for a new hire (in the low 20,000s).
2. There is a performance evaluation system, but even after passing the evaluation, the salary increase ranges from 0 to 2,000. I don't understand what the 0 is supposed to mean.
3. Even if you are relatively capable and pass both evaluations (once at 3 months and once at 6 months) with excellent results, you only get a 4,000 raise, and the overall salary still does not exceed 30,000.
4. Only suitable for local residents; not suitable for job seekers who need to rent accommodation.

Although it’s a company with an established brand, in reality it’s just a small family-run factory full of relatives of the owners. Having a system is practically the same as having no system at all. New employee training is basically a brainwashing session to instill subservience. I think anyone who finishes the training will want to run, especially since the turnover there is extremely high and most colleagues have been there for less than a year. Even now, thinking about it still scares me...
1. Cross-department support work is assigned regardless of job responsibilities. Office staff have to go help on the production line during major holidays. For example, during the Mid-Autumn Festival, you have to work overtime until 10–11 p.m., and the entire company is prohibited from taking leave during that period.
2. You have to come to work during typhoons. They only care about customers and completely disregard employees’ lives.
3. You can’t claim every hour of overtime, but if you bake a cake badly, they calculate every single one for you in detail.
4. There are tons of pointless rules about dress, appearance, cleanliness, and so on... but the standards for evaluations and promotions are very opaque.
5. Those who can stay tend to be extremely submissive, so they think all of the above are reasonable requirements. That is the most frightening part.
