Every two months, employees whose birthdays fall in that month are celebrated, with pizza provided. However, the birthday employees have to introduce themselves and make a wish in front of all the staff.
There is a performance bonus upon being made a permanent employee, but it is not much.
New employees have a three-month probationary period.
Basically, it is impossible not to work overtime almost every day, but regardless of how late you work, the only compensation for a missed meal is 50 yuan.
Several senior employees engage in workplace bullying and have extremely unfriendly attitudes.
Whether employees get a day off for a typhoon depends on the wind and rain conditions that day. If the wind and rain are not severe enough, employees will be told to come to work.
Being one minute late results in a five-yuan deduction. Taking one day of leave results in two days’ wages being deducted. Forgetting to clock in or out also results in a deduction.
Leaving work is inconvenient because someone at the supervisor level has to help open the electric door downstairs. They have even stipulated that multiple people must leave work together before they will help open the door. Occasionally, the logistics staff downstairs stay late, but their attitude is also very impatient when asked to help open the door.
There are very few restrooms. In an environment with 30 or 40 people, there are only two women’s restrooms and one men’s restroom, and the men’s and women’s restrooms are not separated.
Bags must be inspected before leaving work.
This was my work experience one or two years ago. Anyone considering working there should think carefully. Perhaps the company has changed, or perhaps it has hardly changed at all.
The department store supervisor was nice, and some of the employees were nice too, but none of them stayed for very long.
New Takahashi, bgshop, and Dark Saint are all the same company.
It is simply a very hypocritical company; no matter which brand it is, they are all the same.
The product vouchers they give you every month are always close to expiring. The salary and benefits are advertised online as being very high, and the positions are described as very good. In reality, the salary is NT$25,000. For the first three months, overtime pay is provided; after three months, the salary remains NT$25,000 with no overtime pay. Although you do receive bonuses, they are not very high.
There is also an unspoken rule for receiving bonuses: you have to work overtime. If you work overtime, you are considered the most hardworking employee. They only provide meal expenses after you exceed a certain amount of time, and it is very little—only about NT$50 a day.
There is absolutely no menstrual leave, and taking leave results in a large deduction from your salary.
Being one minute late results in a NT$5 deduction. They love deducting money, and the company is also divided into many factions.
You have to sign a contract agreeing to work overtime, as well as a letter of guarantee.
Anyway, think twice before going to the interview.
None
At the beginning, they tell you that the company does not pay overtime after three months, and that everyone will leave after working to a certain extent. In reality, people almost always leave after 8:30 or 9:00 p.m. at the earliest. If you have to attribute the reason to something, it would be the company's processes: everything is changed randomly and is very disorganized. They post pointless content every day; it is a company that mainly focuses on posting content, and it is overly prevalent online, while the products are not very useful either. Every day, they just have to post content, affecting the progress of other colleagues. The supervisor is really terrible.
During the interview, the supervisor makes everything sound great, but once you start, the job is completely different.
The same goes for BGSHOP and DRCINK. All the colleagues I know are miserable.
1. Menstrual leave is limited to only two hours; if you exceed two hours, your perfect-attendance bonus will be deducted.
2. Employees are not allowed to use private LINE accounts.
3. Colleagues are strictly prohibited from discussing work-related matters with one another.
4. Even talking a little at work will result in the supervisor watching you closely.
5. Your bag must be checked before you leave work! (Are they really that afraid employees will steal from them? The stuff is so lousy anyway.)
6. There are tons of annoying activities, with no overtime pay—only time off in lieu, and even then, only three hours are credited.
7. You have to work after clocking out and during days off and holidays; the supervisor does not care at all.
8. Work-related matters are discussed on social media every day, day and night, and you are not allowed not to respond.
9. All the comments and netizens are supposedly insiders; everything is fabricated.
10. After being there for three months, I can honestly say it was a complete waste of time.

The salary is not high, and you may need to help out at the store on holidays
There is workplace bullying at the Renwu plant. As long as those people think you are not part of their group, they will bully you.
