If you want to slack off and earn a small salary, you can come here. The company is very compliant with the Labor Standards Act.
The engineers have very poor professional ethics; they only know how to write code and have no concept of long-term maintenance, such as operations and maintenance. It is hard to imagine that the engineers at a payment company handling large amounts of money are at this level.
They also lack basic DevOps and information security concepts. It is truly astonishing.
Fortunately, the first interview was online, so I didn’t have to go to the site.
The hiring manager started the interview by saying, “Please introduce yourself first so I can take a look at your résumé,” which felt very uncomfortable. It gave the impression that the hiring manager had not put much effort into the process and had not reviewed the résumé beforehand or thought about what questions to ask the candidate. Based on the questions asked later, it was clear that they were not actually looking for someone very senior, so the high salary offered in some areas seemed to be more for appearances than anything else. Perhaps they were afraid that asking certain questions would reveal internal problems; their questions were very roundabout and often missed the point, and you had to think for a while to figure out what they were actually asking. They did ask strange questions and repeatedly asked the same ones. The manager also seemed to be purely a management role without technical knowledge, so people who care about that should take note. I originally thought a new manager would bring a fresh perspective, but it feels no different from the people who were there five years ago. Apparently, changing the culture is not that easy.

We're looking for a skilled Mobile App Engineer with a solid understanding of Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) and Android/iOS native development. Your main tasks will involve developing applications to enhance user interactions with our services, including convenient transit card management and seamless e-payment processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in expanding the possibilities of our transit and e-payment ecosystem.

1. The seating and environment are fairly good.
2. Senior management will make you think the prospects are beautiful.
1. Technical senior management, who are outsiders, lead the insiders.
2. There is no overtime pay or compensatory time off; you are expected to absorb it yourself.
3. Middle managers will imply that if you want to apply for overtime pay or compensatory time off, your performance rating will be very low; if your rating is poor, that is your own problem.
4. There are only business and schedule considerations.
5. It is always just about adding more work and asking everyone to endure the difficulties together.

They themselves are weird, yet they went on about how weird the interviewee was… It was truly an eye-opener… They also kept asking many repetitive questions in a circular manner, which further highlighted their own unprofessionalism… What a shame for this company.
