Previous experience doesn't count as experience, and the salary offered is extremely low, yet there is a second interview. During the initial interview, the supervisor did not even know the salary, and support is required at all four locations, wasting the interviewee's time.

The company has four hotels near Taipei Main Station. Because they skipped number 4, I initially thought there were five hotels. They are all located nearby, and the interview took place at Hotel No. 2. The first floor is a restaurant, and since it was during a shift-change period, I had to go inside and ask someone in the kitchen to find out that the hotel was on the second floor.

The hotel’s interior has a warm-toned lobby, where I waited for the interview in the sofa area. About 10 minutes later, the owner and his wife arrived. After I briefly described my previous work experience, the owner began explaining that, in addition to their four hotels and one restaurant, they also have a long-term care center. The owner and his wife took turns explaining the duties and responsibilities of the position.

I got the impression that the owner’s wife primarily handles internal management and had a clearer understanding of both the position’s responsibilities and the applicant’s résumé.
