The halo of a fake foreign company. There is no pre-employment training for employees; you are assigned work directly.
The company’s systems are lax, vague, and unclear—there is essentially no system or standards to speak of.
The boundaries for working hours and lunch breaks are also unclear. The leave and overtime policies are not publicly disclosed or transparent, and are very poor.
There is a considerable gap between what is said before and after the interview. Overtime pay is basically impossible to claim, the starting time for calculation is very late, there are no employee benefits, and employees even have to pay out of pocket.
The colleagues are very nice
1. The company only provides handover training, but no proper pre-employment training. Be careful when the handover period is too long, as you may leave a deep impression that could become a topic used to attack you.
2. The company’s systems often crash, and the internet is very slow.
3. The work environment is too quiet, making it difficult to feel happy.
4. Work is distributed unevenly and inappropriately; some colleagues have excessive workloads.
5. If you leave work on time, be careful—you may attract your supervisor’s attention and be assigned more work.
6. Overtime is frequent....... That’s just how it is for Asians.
7. One supervisor may seem very nice, but in reality lacks professional ethics as a supervisor, discussing former employees’ personal matters with internal colleagues and people outside the company to solicit sympathy.
Furthermore, the supervisor gives each employee different information about lunch breaks and leaving time. If you cannot finish your work, they may even check on you and compare your work efficiency with that of the supervisor and other colleagues, making you feel that the problem is your fault, while failing to reflect on themselves (in other words, shifting the problem back onto you).
Even worse, supervisors deduct employees’ overtime pay according to their own calculations and do not pay the amount you are actually entitled to. Those who do not dare talk back are allowed to let it continue, while those who do dare should expect arguments and preserve evidence, then use the Labor Standards Act to challenge the supervisors’ misconduct.
