The only advantage is probably that since the chairman, pharmacist Zhao, sexually harassed a female employee and it made the news, there have been no similar reports. The company later founded Yuanzhitian Biotechnology and continued selling more health supplements, which can still be purchased through some channels, including Meikang. Every time I see these products, I pray that all the female employees inside are still safe.
If you work there, you have to be careful not to anger the emperor.
There are simply too many disadvantages. All the executives there are sons and daughters-in-law, and everyone has to do everything. The coworkers also act like nannies, being extremely strict when disciplining new hires. The entire company exudes a stifling atmosphere of working under an emperor.
In summary, as described below.
I interviewed in December for the “Art Editor Specialist” position, with a monthly salary of 34K, little overtime, and no fixed long-service salary adjustment system (they said salary adjustments depend on individual performance).
The position also required taking on about 20% marketing work,
but I forgot to ask what the “other duties assigned by the supervisor” listed on the 104 job page actually were XD
There were three interviewers, and all of them were easy to communicate with and friendly. Therefore, I was somewhat skeptical at the time about the “work atmosphere” issue mentioned by the first two people on this site. I felt that although the company was not large, perhaps not all of the supervisors were difficult to get along with (or maybe the interviewers were just putting on an act QQ).
Later, I received a phone call informing me that I had been accepted. When arranging my start date, I told them that I was still waiting to hear back from another company and still had one final interview. We therefore agreed that I would go to the company the next day to fill out the personnel information form first and reserve my accepted position (I actually did not really understand the purpose of doing this—it was not as if I was signing a contract). That morning, I completed my final interview and was accepted on the spot. In the afternoon, I went to Puten and honestly told them that I was currently more interested in the other company I had just interviewed with. The interviewing supervisor then left the meeting room to inform the company owner, who immediately canceled the offer QQ
I was honestly being truthful because I was trying to be considerate of them QQ (I also explained that my preference for the other company was not because of the salary offered). Otherwise, it would have been more advantageous for me to wait until the day before my start date to tell them I would not be showing up. However, the interviewer had mentioned the current conflict between employers and employees, and also said that when she was young, in her day, people did not even dare ask about salary during interviews and that simply having a job was already good enough, and so on. Therefore, I guess the owner was just embarrassed and canceled the offer out of spite. The interviewer did say, however, that if I decided within two days to join their company, I could still notify them by phone.
Conclusion: My guess is that at least the owner is very difficult to get along with!?
As one final small addition, when I asked about the reason the previous employee in this position had left, the interviewer said it was because the employee had moved. I do not know whether that was the truth or a lie.
