Interview for an international sales position:
1. The company’s overseas business was established a little over a year ago. Its foreign markets are mainly Penghu, Kinmen, Matsu, Hong Kong, mainland China, and Southeast Asia. Currently, it has no markets in Europe, the United States, New Zealand, or Australia. It feels like the products can only be sold in Asia (it feels somewhat like direct selling; just my personal impression).
2. During the probationary period, NT$5,000 will be deducted from your salary each month. Only after passing the assessment at the end of the three-month probationary period will the NT$5,000 × 3 = NT$15,000 be transferred to you.
3. NT$1,500 will also be deducted each month for an overseas travel fund, and participation in overseas travel is mandatory. You can receive a refund only if you provide proof of a wedding or funeral in your family. A few hundred dollars will also be deducted each month as a welfare fund for employee gatherings.
4. The interviewer said that the highest monthly salary among the international sales staff is over NT$80,000. Whether you believe it is up to you~
The environment is spacious
The interview space is private
You are required to contribute 1,500 every month to a travel fund, and employee trips are also mandatory. If you do not participate, they will fire you.
The interviewer was also a bit… After asking about your expected salary, they said:
“This is the first time I’ve encountered someone willing to ask for this much.”
Even after I indicated that there was room for discussion, the interviewer dismissed me with a negative attitude.
A very poor interview experience
The environment looks good.
1. Full-time employees traveling to Taipei for meetings are only reimbursed 80% of the regular high-speed rail fare.
2. After one month of training, you still have to sign a contract requiring you to repay it through 10 months of work; otherwise, you must pay compensation equivalent to three months' salary.
3. The company requires NT$1,500 to be deducted every month as an employee travel fund, and participation in employee trips is also mandatory unless a serious family emergency occurs.
