Pros
It should be a low-margin, high-volume industry that is resilient to economic cycles. The interviewer said that they are a hidden champion.
Cons
A Taiwanese-style factory management approach. The interviewing manager “explained” how capable they are and how strict their management is, while looking down on other people’s experience.
They chose the right industry, but their management still follows traditional Taiwanese thinking. What a shame.
