The office is beautifully decorated, but I once saw a cockroach crawling on a desk.
The product positioning and direction are unclear and frequently change, making it difficult to understand what the company actually wants to do and hard to build on work achievements consistently. Apart from salary, there are no additional employee benefits, making the overall compensation package unattractive. Personnel management lacks stability; when the CEO dismisses employees, the reasons and standards are unclear, making it difficult for other employees to feel secure.
When working with external partners, the CEO often insists on their own position and is unwilling to make adjustments even when the partner has raised concerns. Employees are caught in the middle, having to convey demands they themselves consider unreasonable, bear the partner’s dissatisfaction, and subsequently handle issues related to the partnership and communication.
Overall, what is most draining is not just the workload, but also the constantly changing direction, unpredictable management style, and the boss’s highly volatile emotions and unpredictable communication attitude. Employees also have to bear the internal and external communication conflicts that result.
