Chatting with elderly people
After filling out the form before the interview, I waited for over an hour. It was summer and they still hadn’t turned on the air conditioning. I got so hot and dizzy that my carefully styled hair looked awful from all the sweat ==
When I went to the computer and turned on the video screen, I couldn’t see the interviewer, but the interviewer could see me. The profile picture also showed four other people besides the interviewer.
They asked how I spent my salary from my previous job and how much money I could save each month (Hello???)
The salary details were very vague. During the one-month probation period, after deducting labor and health insurance, the base salary is NT$29,500. When I asked under what circumstances it would be adjusted, they only said it would depend on the evaluation by the senior colleague training me. (I asked this at least four times, and they never gave any actual evaluation criteria.)
Also, this job requires accompanying doctors during consultations, but removing needles for doctors is considered a medical procedure. Yet this was something a clinic assistant with no medical license whatsoever was expected to do. (Huge red flag—run!)
