Cons

It is not surprising at all that Wistron has ended up in this state today. After all, the company’s biggest problem is the CEO himself. He loves promoting employees who are all style and no substance. It does not matter if they have no work ability—as long as they package something that could be described in 30 seconds into 30 minutes, that is enough. When something goes wrong, the first thing they do is pass the buck; failing that, they push subordinate employees out to take the blame. Because they can act with such impunity, it is no big deal to clock in early and then disappear for more than an hour during work, let alone not actually be online working when working from home. Make no mistake, these people are still Wistron’s senior executives, and they will never be laid off.

The company has two products: one has not been updated for two years, while the other was finally launched this year after four or five years of preparation, yet it cannot even be called a defective product. It would be strange if a company like this had good performance.

In any case, this is not the first time the CEO has shut down a company. Presumably, Wistron is also heading toward bankruptcy; it is just unclear how much longer it can limp along.
