They said they really wanted to hire me and were also going through the salary approval process, emphasizing that it was just a normal procedure and that it was fine for me to choose them first and decline other companies. In reality, the offer kept being delayed, and they eventually said they were suddenly no longer hiring for the position. The company’s general manager and manager were simply messing with interviewees, using their time to delay planning for the company’s budget and costs. Absolutely terrible—stay away.
