If you want to earn minimum wage and slack off, you're welcome to join.
It's no different from working in sales, except you also have to handle repairs. The bonuses are even lower than those for sales jobs elsewhere, and you have to go to customers' sites every day to repair machines. Anyone who can keep doing this is genuinely impressive. However, there are people who receive high bonuses. At that point, the boss will be very clever and promote you to manager, taking away your bonuses. Those with low bonuses will be transferred back to an internal position and kept on minimum wage until retirement. And you can forget about ever getting promoted or receiving a raise. Retirees are very welcome here—the company has quite a few retired veterans working there. Young people should avoid wasting their time unless they can tolerate minimum wage.
