Here's a joke from when I used to work here: Every marketer was undercutting prices on the platform they were responsible for. One day, a certain supervisor called me in and asked how much business I could bring in this month. I jokingly answered 100,000–150,000 (I had just started, and there were only a little over 10 days left in the month). I also said, “Everyone is undercutting prices. Shouldn't we be taking gross margin into account? If we don't care about that, I can undercut even further and the business will come in.” The supervisor's face immediately turned sour. By the way, this supervisor never got to the point in meetings and was always living in their own world. That evening, they texted me telling me to pack up and leave. I only replied, “You need to pay me the wages I'm owed.”

As an aside, a headhunter approached my friend, and my friend simply replied to the contact at this company: “You drove all my best friends away. Do you really think I would come work for your company?”
