This interview was for a production operations technician position in Pingtung.
This interview experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment I stepped into the office, the interviewer displayed an extremely arrogant and contemptuous attitude, repeatedly emphasizing how “high-end” the company’s hierarchy was and how stringent its requirements for talent were.
However, when the discussion turned to the specific job duties and compensation, the situation was completely different:
Extremely heavy workload: The scope of responsibilities seemed vague and all-encompassing, with the expected pressure and responsibility completely matching the “high-end” image described by the interviewer.
Concerning salary: For such demanding work, the offered salary was only $29,500, which did not even strike a balance with basic living standards and the value of professional expertise.
Respecting talent should not be merely a slogan. If the company considers itself high-end, it should demonstrate a corresponding professional attitude and offer reasonable compensation, rather than trying to use a sense of superiority to package cheap labor. Future interviewees are advised to confirm the salary range before the interview to avoid wasting valuable time.
