Some colleagues are easy to get along with
1. The interview content differs from the actual work, and the job duties—and even the position—may keep changing. They call it a role adjustment, but this was never mentioned during the interview.
2. You only clock in when you start work, not when you leave. If you apply for overtime pay after working overtime at night, your abilities will still be questioned.
3. There is basically no pay raise. If you want to negotiate a raise, they will first “review” your work—oh, and the same applies when bonuses are being awarded.
4. New employees never get a chance to advance. The boss only values long-term employees. Managers are promoted based on seniority rather than ability. You can wait until a long-term employee retires and then take over, provided you do not upset them and get fired first.
5. The “bosses” only accept ideas they already agree with. They do not want to listen to employees’ explanations, so it is easy to be made the scapegoat and then shown the door.
