Occasionally, there is free afternoon tea.
1. Rework issues: Unclear instructions from supervisors and colleagues lead to rework happening every day, and you may even be questioned about your abilities (Huh???).
2. Unspoken expectation of overtime every day: If they see that you have not left when your workday ends, they continue assigning you work. Applying for overtime is also made unnecessarily difficult.
3. Cliques: Put nicely, they have strong team cohesion; put less nicely, they form cliques. If there is any disagreement, they put personal interests before professional ones and use their positions to target you in countless ways at work, making you unable to stand it and prompting you to resign.
4. High communication costs: They are overly domineering and will not listen to others’ opinions, believing only that they themselves are right.
5. They expect you to be proactive, yet do not give you any real autonomy or remove any of your existing work. They seem to want employees’ initiative and proactivity to be built on time after work.
6. HR is not unaware of the above problems, but cannot actively handle or resolve them, ultimately leaving employees to resign on their own.
Conclusion: If you do not want to be buried with your work, do not come. If you value work-life balance, do not come. If you care about whether communication exists, do not come. This is my most sincere advice to all of you.
